We are a bustling neighborhood restaurant in the heart of north loop. We are one of Austins oldest farm to table concepts. Our menu is foreign in style, while domestically sourced. Our menus change with the season, farm availability, & on chefs whim. Join us for our nose to tail tasting menu nightly if you appreciate whole animal usage. Our wine program is aimed toward biodynamic natural small production wines. If you'd like to have pre or post dinner cocktails, our awesome neighbors include the tigress bar & drink.well.
Please note that we have a 15 minute grace period on reservation arrival times. Should you find yourself running late, please give us a call or the table may be released to a waiting guest.
Tables of 1-2 guests will be reserved for 1.5 hours, tables of 3-4 will be reserved for 1 hour and 45 minutes, tables of 6+ will be reserved for 2 hours. These times reflect standard dining times of our guests. Should you feel that you need additional time, please notate this.

    My team LOVED their evening at F&D. The cozy and intimate atmosphere and incredibly thoughtful menu made for a great experience for all.

    We go on Tuesday’s, oysters $1 and wine by bottle 1/2 price up to $100. Pate was good, duck casserole fantastic. Low key, small place. But we go regularly. Give it a try.

    We had a great time! Jeremiah and the rest of the staff did an excellent job, the food was amazing, and they even remembered we were there for a birthday and gave us a special treat. Highly recommend!!

    We visited on a Tuesday night and had the $1 oysters. The entire meal was great! We enjoyed the walnut salad, Market Fish, the leek risotto and the Babette steak. Also enjoyed a half priced bottle of wine! The service was great, good pricing and the staff was accommodating with the heaters as it was cold outside. I would totally recommend!

    A true hidden gem in Austin. We celebrated our anniversary together here on a Tuesday night. It was perfect.

    We went on Tuesday evening for the oyster and wine happy hour! As always, it was wonderful. We requested a couple of dozen oysters when we made the reservation. They were East Coast Massachusetts oysters which paired well with the bottle of bubbly we shared! The gnocchi and popovers were great as the first course followed by the goats head pasta (which was incredible!!) and the cassoulet (delicious!). We have never had a bad meal here. Love it!!!

    Great place for a delicious brunch with wonderful, tasty options! You can't go wrong with any dish you pick. The servers are especially attentive and helpful in making sure your visit is enjoyable. The owners pour their heart and soul into providing a stellar experience each and every single time!     I love foreign and domestic. It’s one of my favorites in Austin. Delicious every time!! The collard greens are the best I’ve ever had and the gnocchi cannot be missed! Don’t skip out on their baked goods for special events! They top multiple reputable bakeries in ATX. Also don’t skip the banaoffee.
