Welcome to Fornos of Spain Restaurant located on the Iron Bound in Newark, NJ. Fornos of Spain has been bestowed numerous awards and proclaimed by various national magazines as a "must" when dining out in New Jersey. My husband and I went we ordered one appetizer , two entrees , two desserts a glass of wine and glass of sangria they did not disappoint , Fornos truly delivered an exceptional dining experience! From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The food was nothing short of spectacular, and the atmosphere made for a relaxing, enjoyable evening. As soon as we were seated, the staff promptly took our drink orders and brought out warm bread and fresh salads for everyone. It was the perfect way to settle in while browsing the extensive dinner menu—no sense of being rushed at all. The service was fantastic; the servers were attentive and made sure everything flowed seamlessly. We started with an appetizer, followed by our entrees, and let me tell you, the portions are incredibly generous! The side dishes could easily be a meal on their own. Just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, the dessert and coffee options a must have. The house-made churros with chocolate sauce were the perfect sweet ending to a phenomenal meal. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, excellent service, and a warm ambiance, Fornos is a must-visit. Come hungry—you won’t regret it! We’ll definitely be returning soon.

As always Fornos delivered superior Piaya and Salmon dinners. Salads preceded the meal and were offered without notice. All nice touches.

One of our favorite restaurants. Garlic shrimp is superb. Delicious salad, abundance of food. Great sangria. Fresh seafood and paella.

Amazing service. Good is always solid. Paella, Steak, Roasted Pig. Octopus Did a great job getting us in and out in time for the game too

The black squid rice was done poorly. The rice was mixed with ink but a lot of white rice was seen and it just didn’t taste good not like the typical Spanish dish. Looks like they put it all together last minute and not really cooked Properly . They just threw the crab on top as of out of a can . This is one of my favorites foods when I go to Spain and by far this was a disappointment. It was expensive for it to be such a disappointment. They served quantity but not quality. We did get greeted with a large plate of salad complimentary and provided churros also comp but wish the actual food would have been better.
