I chose fox and turtle or a family gathering because it was centrally located for all. I knew nothing about it beyond the reviews. I read on yelp. We were all so pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful experience it was! The server, Martin, was so attentive and fantastic, as was the manager! The smash burger and chicken quesadillas were the best we’ve ever tasted! The beer selection is impressive. It is clean, and a fun atmosphere, overlooking the Itasca country club golf course. I would recommend Fox, and Turtle to anyone!

We went to Fox and Turtle during restaurant week, it was easy to make a reservation and we were seated right away. The decor was casual. We chose from the prix fixe menu, which had a variety of choices for three courses, salad, main and dessert. Price wise it was a good deal, $25.00 per person for the three courses. We had caesar salads, chopped salad and one of us had soup. Two of us had the barbacoa tacos, two had the smash burgers. The wait was moderate but the food was good and the portions were generous. I especially liked the beans that came with the tacos and the portion of the key lime pie for dessert was a quarter of a pie! The fries were great as well. The burger was a double with special sauce and grilled onions. The service was good and we had a nice relaxing meal. All in all a very good experience.

Went for lunch and took advantage of the Restaurant Week menu. Gave us a chance to try different dishes at a great price. Great service, food and atmosphere.

Highly recommended! Food was delicious! It was prepared quickly, came out at perfect temperature, and was delicious! Service was friendly and attentive. Ambiance was just right for a family of 4 eating dinner on a Friday night. The view of the Itasca Country Club golf course was a nice touch. I highly recommend this place! They have a private room and a ballroom for your events. Check them out.

Perfect place for a first date, or just a good with some friends. Never had a bad meal and drink are always great too. Staff is very helpful and professional. 10/10

Updating to reply. It was fine. 3 stars is average and that’s what it was. 5 stars I reserve for blown away/great/absolutely would return. F&T was fine. Experience: I made a reservation for dining. When we arrived they asked if they could “stick me at a high top” okay. Whatever you want. I will say there was an odd smell as we walked through, but I chalked it up to maybe something that was just cooked maybe? Our server was GREAT. The food was fine. Soup was lukewarm. The spicy crispy chicken sandwich was absolutely not spicy at all, but it was fine. The rest of the food was fine. I wasn’t left feeling “oh I can’t wait to come back.” Overall it was fine.
