Frederick's is a family-run restaurant that is now fifty-five years old. Frederick's is a relaxed, contemporary restaurant and bar with private dining options. Serving a modern, crowd-pleasing menu, with familiar yet focused service and an enviable wine list Frederick's continues to be run by the Segal family. We are proud to be regarded as an Islington Institution, and continue to work hard to ensure that this is the case for years to come.

Frederick’s is open from Tuesday through to Saturday with full hire parties bookable on Sunday and Monday (fifty plus guests). Our familiar team is looking forward to seeing you; we can’t wait to shake you a martini or decant a fine wine for you to enjoy.

I had high expectations. For the price point, I wasn't convinced. Really lovely and attentive staff. The menu was a great read. Maybe it was my choices on the night, I didn't come away as a raver. Wine choice very good.

The welcome was excellent, bar drinks ditto. Food was mainly good, although my crushed potato was cold and flavourless. The conservatory at night feels cheerless, would be improved by curtains. Sll n

Had a business dinner here for 5 and asked for a quiet table which we got. Food was lovely and service was great ! I highly recommend

We had a very enjoyable lunch at Frederick’s today. We opted for the set menu as the choices were good. The food was excellent and I chose the Sommelier’s recommendation for wine paring. A very nice white wine from the Luberon region. It’s always a reliable choice for lunch or dinner, a lovely bright and airy space. Highly recommend!

A star knocked off because the menu in the restaurant did not match the online menu and specifically did not include two options that we would have chosen. The range of starters is good but the main options need to be changed with at least daily specials to remain attractive to returning eaters like myself.
