Opened in 1980, Garibaldi is an anchor and landmark in Savannah dining. Forty-three years later, we are still innovating and evolving! Garibaldi offers fresh local seafood, shellfish, wonderful steaks and chops in a warm sophisticated environment with gracious and professional service. Garibaldi also features specially crafted cocktails and an extensive wine list. We are opened Tuesday - Saturday opening at 5:00 p.m.. Our last reservations are at 9:30, we do not close until later after everyone has enjoyed their dining experience. We hope to see you soon.

Located in the heart of Savannah"s historic City Market, Garibaldi is housed in the 1871 Germanian Fire House. Built in classic Paladdian architecture, the building is a beautiful presence in the market area. In the fashion of the era, the firehouses were commonly community meeting places. Thus, the Germanian Society erected a Grand Ballroom on the second floor of the building. With sixteen foot ceilings, fourteen foot arched windows and vintage iron chandeliers, it is one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Savannah, seating 120 and complete with its own private bar. The main floor is a beautiful Victorian room with lavish gilt mirrors, original pressed tin ceiling, romantically illuminated with whimsical chandeliers. Garibaldi offers a variety of menus, and specializes in customizing menus to your specific needs. Gracious service and outstanding food is our highest goal and has helped us earn the Zagat Award of Distinction once again for 2011/12.

I really liked the ambiance of this restaurant! It’s got some dimmer lighting and was nicely decorated for Valentine’s Day. My fiancée and I came here the night after we got engaged and the waitress Taylor was kind enough to give us each a free drink to celebrate our engagement. The bread basket they have is summer yummy and I really enjoyed my chicken Parmesan! We also got the clam pasta which was tasty

The food was delicious. Our waitress was absolutely amazing and so nice! The ambiance is great. It is on the expensive side but it is worth it. Would recommend and plan to go back!

Garibaldi never disappoints! The Scored Flounder is amazing and we also tried the Nightly Mahi Special and it was fabulous also! Perfect Valentine's Dinner!

My friend and I split 2 entrees, one the crispy duck and the other 1, the lobster pasta. Our waiter Bobby split it in the kitchen, which was very helpful. He was very attentive and besides the food being excellent, so was his service.

My girlfriend and I recently dined at Garibaldi’s Cafe in Savannah, and it was an unforgettable experience. We started with the lamb ribs as an appetizer, which were tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned—a delightful way to begin our meal. For my entrée, I chose the seafood Alfredo. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the seafood was fresh and abundant, all enveloped in a rich and creamy Alfredo sauce. It was truly a 5/5 dish that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting. The ambiance of the restaurant was both elegant and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a memorable evening. The service was attentive and professional, enhancing our overall dining experience. If you’re in Savannah and looking for a top-notch dining experience, Garibaldi’s Cafe is a must-visit. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to the city

I had the crispy scored flounder, and my wife had the chicken piccata along with a Garibaldi salad and a wedge salad, respectively. We wrapped up with New York style cheesecake. Our meals were excellent, and our server, Avery, was amazing. There were many other items on the menu we would love to try, so we will definitely return. I would highly recommend dining here when in Savannah.
