Opened in 1980, Garibaldi is an anchor and landmark in Savannah dining. Forty-three years later, we are still innovating and evolving! Garibaldi offers fresh local seafood, shellfish, wonderful steaks and chops in a warm sophisticated environment with gracious and professional service. Garibaldi also features specially crafted cocktails and an extensive wine list. We are opened Tuesday - Saturday opening at 5:00 p.m.. Our last reservations are at 9:30, we do not close until later after everyone has enjoyed their dining experience. We hope to see you soon.

Located in the heart of Savannah"s historic City Market, Garibaldi is housed in the 1871 Germanian Fire House. Built in classic Paladdian architecture, the building is a beautiful presence in the market area. In the fashion of the era, the firehouses were commonly community meeting places. Thus, the Germanian Society erected a Grand Ballroom on the second floor of the building. With sixteen foot ceilings, fourteen foot arched windows and vintage iron chandeliers, it is one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Savannah, seating 120 and complete with its own private bar. The main floor is a beautiful Victorian room with lavish gilt mirrors, original pressed tin ceiling, romantically illuminated with whimsical chandeliers. Garibaldi offers a variety of menus, and specializes in customizing menus to your specific needs. Gracious service and outstanding food is our highest goal and has helped us earn the Zagat Award of Distinction once again for 2011/12.

Overall a good, but not great meal. Service was attentive and helpful. For the food - it was a mixed bag. The oysters rockefeller were exceptional (perfectly cooked, large, flavorful), but both entrees (flounder, lobster pasta) were underwhelming.

The food was excellent and our waiter, Arnold, dud an awesome job. We were seated upstairs which was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend!

Garibaldi's is a first-rate fine dining experience with exquisite food, top-shelf service, and unrivaled ambiance. The crispy-scored flounder is even better than the Old Pink House, and the upstairs dining room makes for a level of opulence to rival any restaurant in the country.

Incredible wait staff! Our waiter was attentive and very prompt with our requests. The oysters Rockefeller were the best we’ve had! Gumbo was delicious, the seared flounder was the highlight! A great experience overall!

A fantastic dinner, the server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Scallops cooked perfect. Chicken piccata was great.. The ambience was excellent..

We were travelling south to Savannah and traffic on 95 made us two hours late for our reservation. We called ahead and switched to a later time. We ended up dining at the bar. The food was outstanding and the Bartender, Charlie, endlessly entertaining. It made the perfect ending to a very stressful day of driving.
