Opened in 1980, Garibaldi is an anchor and landmark in Savannah dining. Forty-three years later, we are still innovating and evolving! Garibaldi offers fresh local seafood, shellfish, wonderful steaks and chops in a warm sophisticated environment with gracious and professional service. Garibaldi also features specially crafted cocktails and an extensive wine list. We are opened Tuesday - Saturday opening at 5:00 p.m.. Our last reservations are at 9:30, we do not close until later after everyone has enjoyed their dining experience. We hope to see you soon.

Located in the heart of Savannah"s historic City Market, Garibaldi is housed in the 1871 Germanian Fire House. Built in classic Paladdian architecture, the building is a beautiful presence in the market area. In the fashion of the era, the firehouses were commonly community meeting places. Thus, the Germanian Society erected a Grand Ballroom on the second floor of the building. With sixteen foot ceilings, fourteen foot arched windows and vintage iron chandeliers, it is one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Savannah, seating 120 and complete with its own private bar. The main floor is a beautiful Victorian room with lavish gilt mirrors, original pressed tin ceiling, romantically illuminated with whimsical chandeliers. Garibaldi offers a variety of menus, and specializes in customizing menus to your specific needs. Gracious service and outstanding food is our highest goal and has helped us earn the Zagat Award of Distinction once again for 2011/12.

Food is fantastic. Dessert could use some imagination. Service was very attentative to our table since it took an hour and fort five minutes to get our food! They did come to our table and apologize 4 times. The manager never visited our table and offered a solution.

Absolutely incredible food… the seafood tower is a must, as well as their nightly specials. Wife had the duck… amazing!! Awesome staff!

What a lovely supper. The food is excellent and the service even better. The ambiance is so warm and inviting. Highly recommend a visit if you in Savannah.

Great food, ambience and service! We have always loved this restaurant and our out of town guests agreed. It was a nasty night but there was no damper on our evening, worth the slosh to get there. Thank you for another wonderful dining experience.

Excellent service from Taylor and staff. Delicious light and fluffy rolls were served with butter to start off our meal. My Husband thoroughly enjoyed the She Crab soup. It was very flavorful with a perfect blend of sweet crab. I ordered the special Wedge salad which was very tasty and fresh. Our entrees were the Crispy Duck and the Scored Flounder. Both were cooked perfectly and were very delicious. We dine here whenever we are in the area. Highly recommend!

I really liked the ambiance of this restaurant! It’s got some dimmer lighting and was nicely decorated for Valentine’s Day. My fiancée and I came here the night after we got engaged and the waitress Taylor was kind enough to give us each a free drink to celebrate our engagement. The bread basket they have is super yummy and I really enjoyed my chicken Parmesan! We also got the clam pasta which was tasty

The food was delicious. Our waitress was absolutely amazing and so nice! The ambiance is great. It is on the expensive side but it is worth it. Would recommend and plan to go back!
