   We were there for a quick meal before an event at Union Chapel and thought Gem was excellent value. Very tasty and quick efficient service..

   Your app allows people to book and then restaurant refuses !!! We booked a table, turned up on time at 10.30 and then told restaurant did not take customers after 9.30. Ruined our night as could and will go elsewhere

   On our first visit to Gem ahead of a concert at Union Chapel, we opted for the mixed mezze menu with a good combination of cold and hot mezze (plus baklava for dessert). The dishes were tasty and we ended up well fed fed. There was quite a gap between the cold dishes which came very quickly and the hot ones but this didn't cause us a problem. Service was friendly and efficient. Will go again.

   Lovely food and ambience. Took a bit of time go our mains to arrive but it was worth the wait.

   It was 6pm on a busy Monday night because of the local Premier League football match, but nonetheless the service was far too slow for our table of six - we ordered no starters and went direct for one main course each, plus three accompanying Greek salads. The food for the six of us arrived sporadically, not altogether, and three dishes took an hour to arrive. Two of the dishes were completely wrong and had to be replaced, while two were lukewarm when they arrived, and my own dish failed to return at all after I requested it be made hotter. When the bill arrived, rather predictably the charge for the dish that had failed to return to me was there and I asked the manager to remove it. He did do this, and at this point a customer would expect some form of apology. However, he returned with a corrected bill- no discount, merely the removal of an item we had not received - and quipped “At least you had a healthy meal” (a reference to part of a Greek salad I had eaten). I was host for the evening, which was an embarrassing one. I would not have written this notice had the manager volunteered some sort of concession on the bill or not made his facetious remark to a discontented group. A bad day at the office.

   The food and venue were both AMAZING! The staff greeted us with a fantastic smile it has a family atmosphere inside . The presentation of the food as well as the flavours where 1st class. The wine recommendation was on point. As for the dessert it was out of this world !!Thanks Gem we will see you soon !!😍😃

   Wow. This food was amazing and really well priced. If left everyone commenting on how healthy they felt after eating it. We had a great night and the service was outstanding.
