Geraldine's is named after the famed guinea fowl that once roamed Rainey Street. Respect for Austin's history and culture seeps into every part of the restaurant, from the local ingredients featured in our Chef's contemporary menu to the nightly concert lineup-because there is no Austin without live music. A Memorable Date Night! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My wife and I finally visited Geraldine’s for a long-overdue date night, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was cozy and vibrant, and the staff provided top-notch service. The valet parking is also the most affordable in the area, which is a great bonus! A tip from us: the portions are huge, and while the menu lets you order sides separately, we found it best to skip them. Our bill ended up costing us a couple of tanks of gas, mainly because we ordered sides we couldn’t finish and ended up taking them home. To keep things under $120, stick to the mains — they’re more than satisfying! Geraldine's is a must-try, especially when there’s live music to set the vibe. We’ll definitely be back for another unforgettable night!

I had the good fortune to be treated to the best dinner of my life. The hotel is beautiful and inviting, the restaurant has a special welcoming atmosphere that was special and inviting. Our waiter was exceptional in his knowledge of the food and in his professionalism. The food was the best combination of taste, flavor, texture, and visual delight imaginable. This magnet of culinary superiority will draw me back again and again.

I would like to start off by saying that when we booked the reservation, we overlooked that it was a tapas restaurant. While we understood the “shared” experience, none of us ordered stuff that we all liked enough to share. We had people in our group with food sensitivities that required us to get a menu item twice. Then we had to watch some people eat while others had nothing. It would be nice to have a shared situation for everything to come out at the same time or at least the option of it especially for larger groups. Two dishes at a time were coming out and we had 5 people in our group and we were hungry. Again it’s tapas so small plates are not really feasible for a larger group. We did ask the server if there was anyway the food could come out all together, and she told us no and that is just how the kitchen is and walked off. We were a bit disappointed, but what was even more disappointing, was listening to our server talk to the table right next to us about how she did not understand why we came to a tapas restaurant and the table agreeing with her. While we tried to be understanding, from a service standpoint it was totally unprofessional. Our experience was lackluster but the shining aspect was that the food was amazing. I feel if the server handled the situation better, it could have turned the experience around for us. Sometimes customer service can the dealbreaker in an experience and it was here in every sense of the word.

Everything on the menu is spectacular. From the octopus to the Ribeye, I recommend it all. And ask for Justin, his service was top notch!

The restaurant itself is decorated very well and had a light airy feel. The food here was fantastic. I had the Shukshuka Eggs and it is a new favorite dish! Blueberry muffin was packed with fresh berries, great addition to the meal. Service was quick and attentive.

Great jazz on Saturday for brunch!!!! The food was fantastic as was the service. Didn’t feel rushed but the food pacing was good.

I recently had a wonderful experience at this establishment. The service I received was top-notch, and the staff members were all very attentive and friendly. The ambiance was pleasant and created a relaxing atmosphere. I was thoroughly impressed and will certainly be returning. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience.
