Geraldine's is named after the famed guinea fowl that once roamed Rainey Street. Respect for Austin's history and culture seeps into every part of the restaurant, from the local ingredients featured in our Chef's contemporary menu to the nightly concert lineup-because there is no Austin without live music. The restaurant itself is decorated very well and had a light airy feel. The food here was fantastic. I had the Shukshuka Eggs and it is a new favorite dish! Blueberry muffin was packed with fresh berries, great addition to the meal. Service was quick and attentive.

Great jazz on Saturday for brunch!!!! The food was fantastic as was the service. Didn’t feel rushed but the food pacing was good.

I recently had a wonderful experience at this establishment. The service I received was top-notch, and the staff members were all very attentive and friendly. The ambiance was pleasant and created a relaxing atmosphere. I was thoroughly impressed and will certainly be returning. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience.

My wife and I arrived for Sunday brunch. We were initially seated at a table that barely cleared our knees so we politely asked to be moved somewhere else. They quickly moved us to a booth that was much more comfortable. Then they proceeded to ignore us. There were tables nearby that arrived after us, but that were promptly taken care of. We were apparently invisible until we decided to leave after 30 minutes of no service. I don't know if they were being passive aggressive or were just understaffed. Either way it was a disappointing time. The one highlight was the jazz band. They were excellent and I wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed them!

Beautiful setting. Food was really good, great… no but really good! Service was a bit slow but liked we didn’t feel rushed.
