   ghillies is no longer, the venue is under new management. Ghillies hasn't been there for several weeks. So not quite sure who toptable "confirmed" my booking with but thankfully the restaurant had a spare table otherwise an important business lunch would have been ruined

   We booked Ghillies for sunday brunch, but when we arrived it was being renovated. We eat here fairly often, and it is always reliable. We continue to wonder why so few others are there. If you want a good menu, with reliable food and service, in a quiet, ample atmosphere, go to Ghillies. With the renovation it should be better than ever.

   Went to ghillies on the kibgs road in london. still going after many years. Ate calimari and sea bream, efficient of a little quiet. Lost a bit of its charm!

   Having looked at Ghillies website I liked the look of the cocktails so booked a table for lunch. When we arrived the waitress told me the barman was not in so I could not have a cocktail! I asked her again very nicely if there were any cocktails she could mix for me but she was sure none of the staff present could do this so it was a disappointment for me and the food did not make up for it.
