   We made a reservation for my wife's 61st birthday, breaking our years-long tradition of celebrating birthdays at Ruth's Chris. The food was just as good in terms of quality (my petite filet with 2 grilled shrimp was excellent!) but the atmosphere was a small bit lacking - small tables, tightly packed together, with a more family-oriented atmosphere (kids) than we would have preferred. But all in all I don't regret having tried something new - we have made it our goal to sample all of the best steakhouaes in the Twin Cities metro area, and Gianni's definitely belongs in that group!

   Great neighborhood restaurant yet worth a little drive, too. Exceptional steaks with excellent choices non-red meat eaters with sides for all palates. If you haven't been, get a reservation now.

   i do not like how close they put us all together, the people next to us were so loud and obnoxious making inappropriate comments so loud. the server was all over the place. the mashed potatoes were so bland and starchy. it’s decent but not the best place as people have said

   For the first time ever we experienced some poor experiences with our food. The escargot was muddy tasting, my steak initially came out rare and had to be refired twice, the lamb was very gamey tasting. The service staff were like super heroes the way they took care of us. Everything was comped to our great surprise! We've always loved coming here but this just makes us look forward to coming back sooner. They really know how to take care of you in an expert manner.

   I generally like Gianni's. Tonight the food was adequate at best. We started with a glass of wine and salads. The salads were good but nobody cleared before the main meal which was kind of a cluster. My wife has a steak, which was good. I has some Scallops that were under cooked and prepared with a pomegranate reduction that was tasteless. Maybe i was me . I expected more flavor. Also a side of mashed potatoes was lacking any buttery/creamy taste. Not totally disastrous, just disappointing.

   We had a great experience! The service and food was top knotch! We were very impressed and so glad we came back!!!! We had the best time and we really the care in to every detail of the drinks and food we received.

    Food came out prompt… Scotty our server is amazing. We’ve had him lots of times… Food was delicious. Temperature was good… Great experience.
