   Bad. Like really bad. We think they're buying reviews. Local NYC professional couple for Valentine's Day Dinner Ambience: You're welcomed with a basic, cheap, commercial metal door you'd find at a CVS, old dated tiles in the first half of the restaurant and just an overall feeling of decay. It was an instant red flag. Service: Ok. Our waiter was nice, never greeted us however but abruptly came up and started talking. Dinner was so expedited for 3 courses we still left within an hour. Food: We compared it to a Gordon Ramsey kind of experience. Meatballs were bland and lacking any fresh flavors, Caesar salad was caked with dressing and overwhelmed with anchovy. The gnocchi needed a paper towel to soak up the grease; it was barely edible. Actually disgusting. This place has a lot of work to do but we're more upset the reviews we read, now looking back, seem fake. Will not be back.

   Hello Dustin, I sincerely apologize you did not have a good experience at our restaurant on Valentine's Day. We have been in business for over 30 years and strive for excellence! We take every review seriously and will implement changes to assure no other customers has a less than wonderful experience here. I can assure you that all of our reviews (raving and less than) are genuine. We are a small business so insinuating that we have doctored reviews is truly hurtful as we are a staple in the community and loved by many. All the best. Sascha

   It’s really a 5.0. Fantastic food. The octopus was to die for. Scallops so fresh and perfectly cooked. The veal was delicious and more than I could eat. Wine was fairly price , cappuccinos were hot and should have had desert first when we shared. Snow 2 “ while we were there. Great staff!!! Away from the hustle of streets of Madison Square Garden. You won’t be disappointed!!!!!

   We ordered from the New York Restaurant week menu. The soup, while tasty, was tepid. The portions on the Branzino dish were adequate but the vegetables were undercooked and the chef was heavy on the pepper. I ordered an American coffee but got an americano with espresso. All in all, it was an underwhelming experience.
