You feel a great energy when you walk into the Glass House Tavern. The decor is soothing and warm, and their neighborhood hospitality makes guests feel welcome. The prompt, friendly service is delightful and the food is incredible.

The contemporary American menu sets this restaurant apart from the other choices in the neighborhood. Fresh, seasonal ingredients are the emphasis here and the results are fantastic.

                                      My wife and I had a great dining experience at The Glass House Tavern. The restaurant itself has a much classier ambience and vibe than the word “tavern” might suggest. Our server, Eduardo, was very nice and attentive…and the food was delicious. My wife had the roast chicken and I had the short rib, and both were cooked to perfection. We sat in the upstairs section, where some of the tables are a bit close together, but it is NYC after all. All in all, we would definitely go back to The Glass House Tavern.

                                      This is my second time dinning here. Great place to dine especially if you are going to see Six the Musical. Our waiter was wonderful. Told him we had a tickets for a 8pm and he made sure we had our food in time before leaving for the play. Definitely recommend this place!!

                                      Glass House Tavern is an oasis in the theater district. The $60 prix fixe dinner is a bargain and the cocktails -- we tried the peach vodka/passion fruit/prosecco one which was great. Burrata appetizer was amazing but the short ribs were dry and needed more sauce. Waiter was great and got us in and out in time for our curtain.

                                      Lamb bolognese was VERY salty. Short rib was decent, a little on the dry side. Cheesecake dessert was excellent.

                                      We have always liked the Glass House Tavern, but we had an exceptionally good experience this time. Our waiter Walter was friendly and efficient, and every one of our dishes--filet mignon, salmon, short ribs, and pasta with shrimp--was delicious. It was the perfect spot to continue our Holiday celebration!

                                      This is a gem located right in the heart of the theater district. The ambience is contemporary in a multi level, setting with wood paneling, brick, fireplace and white linen tablecloth’s. The food was exquisitely, prepared and presented, and the pricing was definitely quite reasonable.  Great place for before theater dining or just any time. Do you want a really nice meal?

                                      A-dorable! I loved this spot…it was quaint, intimate, stylish. The food was excellent! And my cocktail…yum! I had the peach martini. So good-so good.
