You feel a great energy when you walk into the Glass House Tavern. The decor is soothing and warm, and their neighborhood hospitality makes guests feel welcome. The prompt, friendly service is delightful and the food is incredible.

The contemporary American menu sets this restaurant apart from the other choices in the neighborhood. Fresh, seasonal ingredients are the emphasis here and the results are fantastic.

                                      The staff, from reservations, greeters and wait staff were accommodating and pleasant. The food was better than I remembered - very tasty and well prepared. A little pricey but not terrible. Only problem is noise. Bar area is very loud plus loud pulsing music. Upstairs is better but also hard to talk.

                                      We had Sunday brunch and thec4 of us each had a different dish. All were happy with our choices. We asked for the quietest table they had. And they put us upstairs in a corner table. Noise level was tolerable for a Sunday afternoon, and No Music, which we very much appreciated. Our server Laura was personable and attentive. We will definitely return.

                                      We went to Glass House Tavern for brunch. We loved everything about it. Our food was excellent. I had the mushroom and goat cheese quiche and my daughter had an omlette. It was all delicious. We also got the white sangria. It was the perfect place for a pre-show brunch. Also, our server, Russell, was the absolute best! We will definitely return soon!

                                      On our most recent visit to Glass House Tavern the service was, shall we say, unmotivated. From the start the server paid us scant attention and made us wait-- wait to give a drink order, wait to give a food order and wait for the bill. Unforgivable in a restaurant that prides itself on efficiently feeding theatre patrons without making them feel rushed. That said, the food was very good. Ordering from the fixed-price menu I had a generous salad, luscious short rib. My companion was less impressed with the salmon. My dessert is called cheesecake but is really a mousse but still yummy. Overall I like Glass House Tavern because the food is good and it usually delivers a good dining experience before seeing a show,
