Good Enough to Eat has served American home cooking in the Upper West Side since 1981. Visitors from all over the world come to Good Enough to Eat to enjoy classic American food. They sit side by side with Upper West Side “regulars". The appetite for wholesome, authentic, traditional American food only seems to be growing.

Please note we only take reservations for dinner,if you are hankering for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, please feel free to stop by.

                                                                                                                                          Good enough to eat used to be the go to place for brunch on the weekends. Their food was excellent and there would be a line outside waiting to get in. Now it’s a shadow of itself. The food is overpriced under spiced and the decor looks tired With paint chipping seats with holes on them.

                                                                                                                                          We visited Friday lunch. Not so crowded, inside was nice and cozy. Ordered blueberry pancakes and egg benedict! Both dishes were really delicious! Strawberry butter is mild sweet and that was really good for me! Egg benedict was really deilicous too! If you want cozy space for branch, near central park, i definitely recommend my friends to visit!

                                                                                                                                          Had a lovely lunch with a friend. She ordered the avocado and cheddar sandwich and I had the chopped salad. The salad was huge and came with 2 small tasty biscuits. And of course their famous strawberry butter. The servers were friendly and attentive. Would certainly recommend.

Food was excellent and so was our waiter. Very attentive! Only criticism- why do they need to play music? People want to talk. Lower or, even better, eliminate it.

Food was mediocre, except for the pancakes/strawberry butter. I was excited to try the spot because I’d heard great things, but was very disappointed.
