Goodman is a uniquely British interpretation of a New York grill, offering the best beef from both sides of the Atlantic. Most of the meat we serve in our Mayfair restaurant is from Nebraskan USDA corn-fed herds, but we also source many rare breeds from the Lake District, including Belted Galloway, Shorthorn and Longhorn cattle. Our other steaks include grain-fed Australian and Wagyu from Japan and Chile. Every steak on our blackboard has been dry-aged on site – it’s the best way to concentrate flavour – then we cook it over charcoal. To accompany your steak, we’re proud of the American red wine collection we have amassed – we know it’s the best way to complement red meat. Our Mayfair restaurant is located just off Regent Street.

Great steak. Perfectly cooked and seared nicely. Very tender. Service is also great and fast. Will definitely be back here again.

Very good service, however the sirloin was served three times as it was overcooked twice. The sides were re- served free as they went cold. Manager was apologetic. Overall great lunch, spoiled by the overcooked steak.

Excellent steaks, good wine list and reasonable service. Pricey for what it is, but this is still one of the best steak restaurants in London. If you want the same quality at a lower price, then Canary Wharf is worth visiting.

Fillet steak was amazing in flavour, Lake District quality meat . Mac and cheese with truffle is a must !! And great wine by the glass .
