At Gourmet Italia, experience Italy without ever leaving Temecula. Restauranteur, Alessandro (Alex) Prestifilippo moved to the states from Sicily in 1996. He takes much pride in our attentive, friendly staff, knowing they’ll provide the exceptional “Sicilian” experience Alex prides himself in. The menu and wine selection is vast and reasonable and the special dishes vary from Seafood Pescatore, Halibut, Salmon, Filet, Osso bucco, Lamb Shank, Wild Boar, Ostrich, Lobster Ravioli and much more!                                     Always a great experience here. The food is amazing, portion sizes are big and the food always comes out steaming hot. Staff is very friendly and loves to help you out with picking a new wine or meal to try.

                                    We got seated 45 minutes late despite having a reservation. Kitchen ran out of some of the dishes we ordered, which we probably would’ve been able to have had they seated us on time.  They had a good band playing in the dining room, but it was so loud. It was extremely difficult to have a conversation. Waitresses were great.

                                    Some seating should be only considered if there’s absolutely no place else to set to have an open restaurant and deceit individuals in the worst possible spot in the walkway very much, not conducive to a great special start of an evening

                                    Samantha was probably the best server we've ever had. All the staff here is excellent but she was all around excellent, She remembered everything and was friendly and genuine. Food was delicious as always and the Pistachio prefiterols were amazing./

                                    Our second time there and it was perfect. The menu is great but this is now the second time where we could not pass up the specials. That squid ink pasta needs to be a full time option! And the ostrich salad? Unreal delicious! Our server was wonderful and we hope we get her again.
