When owner Johnny Carrabba set out on his next restaurant venture, he knew his vision would include the fond memories he had of his dear grandmother Grace Mandola. Grace, also known to the family as Mama, was a Sicilian woman born to immigrant parents in Louisiana. She had a flair for cooking, hospitality, and deep faith.

She was known to make bread from scratch every Saturday for her legendary three-hour Sicilian Sunday lunches; and, her newly established family roots in Louisiana added interesting flavors to her home cooked meals. The entire Mandola family, including her five children and fourteen grandchildren, was regularly greeted in her home with smells of warm bread, well brewed sauces and homemade soups. It was around her table that her family learned the true meaning and value of relationships, friendships and good food.

This was recommended by several friends. We were not disappointed. Everything was absolutely delicious and great customer service. We will be back.

Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly from the hostess to the server, kitchen staff even waving from the kitchen.

The four of us had a wonderful evening. The restaurant is cozy with perfect lighting. Our waiter, Saul was excellent. He was helpful and professional. The only glitch was our entrees. We chose the special pork chops. 3 of us chose the seasonal entree and the fourth the fried pork chops. My pork chops was very tough, difficult to cut with the steak knife. I ate a quarter of it and gave up. The others enjoyed more manageable cuts of meat! Hopefully this will not be a problem in the future!

Grace's was the perfect spot for my Anniversary, the atmosphere was excellent. The food was good as always. Jay, thank you for excellent customer service.

Today's experience was notably different from my previous visits. It would have been beneficial for the waiter to introduce himself or notify us that he would attend our table. Instead, he poured water for us upon our arrival and departed. After several minutes of waiting, we found it necessary to inquire about the identity of our waiter. Eventually, he responded, "Yes, are you ready to order?" Regrettably, the food was served at a suboptimal temperature, and the server who delivered it was unable to effectively communicate the additional we were requesting. Overall, this visit did not meet the standards of service we had anticipated.
