When owner Johnny Carrabba set out on his next restaurant venture, he knew his vision would include the fond memories he had of his dear grandmother Grace Mandola. Grace, also known to the family as Mama, was a Sicilian woman born to immigrant parents in Louisiana. She had a flair for cooking, hospitality, and deep faith.

She was known to make bread from scratch every Saturday for her legendary three-hour Sicilian Sunday lunches; and, her newly established family roots in Louisiana added interesting flavors to her home cooked meals. The entire Mandola family, including her five children and fourteen grandchildren, was regularly greeted in her home with smells of warm bread, well brewed sauces and homemade soups. It was around her table that her family learned the true meaning and value of relationships, friendships and good food.

Grace’s NEVER fails to disappoint which is why it’s my absolute, most favorite restaurant. Ana greeted me at the front desk and she’s always warm and welcoming and our waitress Jackie was also awesome. Todd was the only thing missing but I know he works at night now.

We were looking for a nice upscale experience and that is exactly what we got! The food and service was top notch. This is a great spot to celebrate an event or for a date night.

The lead hostess was not kind on last night 1/18/24. We had a reservation @6:30pm for our Christmas Celebration and we could not be seated until another family got up from that same table @7pm. Communication was poor and the manager did not come over to our table afterwards to apologize. We were made to feel like it was our fault. She sent an appetizer to the table but did not come over to speak with us herself. This is unacceptable!!

Ton and Trey were excellent servers and were very warm and welcoming. They took excellent care of us and even had their manager, Todd, help us with an extra question we had. We really appreciated Todd taking the time to talk to us! Probably one of the best times we have been to Graces!

Marissa, our server, truly stands out; her attentiveness and friendly demeanor make every visit a memorable experience. She goes above and beyond to ensure that all our needs are met, contributing to an excellent dining experience. Whether she’s recommending dishes or checking in on us throughout the meal, her pleasant attitude adds an extra layer of enjoyment to our time there. It's always a pleasure to be served by her!

First, I’ll start with the good… The food was great! I ordered the chicken fried chicken and my husband ordered Cajun stuff chicken with crawfish sauce. No complaints there… The bad… I made reservations for my 10th wedding anniversary and was seated in the bar area next to the door. We didn’t have a dedicated server. We had the bartender going from behind the bar and out servicing the tables. The service was atrocious! The drinks came fast because he made them, then we waited so long to place our order for food, that the female bartender took our order. I’m sure she saw the unpleasant look on our face. While waiting for our food, another server was going in/out the door having the absolute loudest conversation with other patrons. When the food came we were good, until children solicitors came to our table asking for money. That’s when an employee tried to pull the little girl by the bag she was holding out the door. When she fought back, he decided to get the police officer outside. This is not what I expected during my visit celebrating our 10 year milestone.

Tohn did a great job welcoming us for the first time. We are from New Orleans ( we know seafood) and my wife ordered the fish and it was spectacular. Great job!!
