   I am so glad you ask. We booked a table for 4 on Saturday evening,to celebrate my sons birthday, got a confirmation from open table if of their reservation and the restaurant was CLOSED!!!!! I will not book with open table again.

   Except that it's closing! Landlord, increased rent etc. A great pity. It's been booked all week.

   We chose Great Queen Street to celebrate our anniversary as my husband had eaten good food here before. We liked the menu and had really tasty cocktails, wine and food. We originally wanted to have a pre-dinner drink in the bar downstairs but it was empty so felt uninviting. The only criticism I have with the food was the temperature of my main dish, described as “roast duck with green beans and a walnut sauce”. The duck was warm but the beans were cold. I was told it was a “bean salad” but that’s not the way it was described, so hopefully they’ll re-word it on the menu. Other than the chilly beans though the dish was delicious. I’m looking forward to coming back to try more dishes.

   We absolutely enjoyed our delicious meal before attending a show. The food was well prepared, served with care and delicious to eat. Thank you for this memorable experience!

    Great gastro pub, with some soecial dishes, like rabbit. And rhe mozarella was one of the best i ever had
