Pair it with your choice of artisanal cocktails, craft beers and over 75 wines by the glass and 500 wines. In fact, we’re the only restaurant in Greensboro to receive the Wine Spectator “Best of Award of Excellence”. We invite you to join us at Green Valley Grill, adjacent to the O.Henry Hotel and Friendly Center in Greensboro.

Our courtyard dining is very busy during this time. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee outdoor dining reservations. If you request outdoor dining, we will add your name to the list in the order reservations are made. You may call and see where you are on the list if you’d like.

    Our birthday party was a great success....Thanks. The corner location for 8 was very good, and quiet enough to have some good conversations.

    Delicious food! We started off with the lemon scones with lemon curd and cream. Loved them, so good. The chicken salad with the honey apple vinaigrette, blueberries, toasted pecans and mixed greens was outstanding! Also, great iced tea..Highly recommend.

    I am a menu driven restaurant fan, and today, there were multiple items that l thought sounded great, and the ones my party of two chose were outstanding. The Potato Leek Soup was decadent but worth it. The Vanilla Scones are rich and dense, yet light and airy. The Blue Crab Quiche was rich , full of crab and enrobed by a flakey crust. The Chocolate Cake is the best house made desert in Greensboro, and the coffee is never bitter. Further, the service was outstanding.

    We've been to Green Valley Grill many times over the years, and I hate to say that it's just not as good as it used to be. First, the pros: beautiful restaurant, parking is easy, excellent cocktails and liquor/wine selection, lots of craft brews include a big selection of NC beers, and the pistachio cake is one of the best desserts I've ever eaten (thanks to our server for the recommendation!). Now, the cons: we had a reservation and arrived a couple minutes early, but had to wait about 15 minutes for our table to be ready; the calamari was terrible - I've had better at a basic bar & grill - it was overly breaded, and the sauce was too spicy (and we like spicy) and tasted (and looked) like a mix of mayo and hot sauce; there is only one option on the menu for vegetarians; I got the scallops which were overly drenched in sauce and the accompaniments were average at best; husband had the filet which was covered in brown gravy - not a wine demi-glace or anything like that - it was the same brown gravy you would expect on a country fried steak. Really unfortunate as this used to be one of the best spots in Greensboro.

    Ambiance and service were excellent. Food was clearly above average. Well seasoned and prepared. Presentation very good. Fast service. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Will be back.
