Pair it with your choice of artisanal cocktails, craft beers and over 75 wines by the glass and 500 wines. In fact, we’re the only restaurant in Greensboro to receive the Wine Spectator “Best of Award of Excellence”. We invite you to join us at Green Valley Grill, adjacent to the O.Henry Hotel and Friendly Center in Greensboro.

Our courtyard dining is very busy during this time. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee outdoor dining reservations. If you request outdoor dining, we will add your name to the list in the order reservations are made. You may call and see where you are on the list if you’d like.

    We totally enjoyed our meal. We had the crusted chicken and the burgers. Both were very good. Not sure how you get the fries so crispy but they are always very good. However,last week when we ate there my husband ordered the scallops and they were NOT good. They were very small and salty and the cooked greens were gritty like they had not been washed. I was going to mention it to the waiter at the time but didn’t want to seem like we were complaining .But I felt I would mention it now. Don’t get me wrong we love GVG and Oh Henry.🤓

    Christmas Dinner at Green Valley Grill is always hectic. The place is packed all day and the service can be a little spotty. (I made my reservation six or more week ahead and was able on to snag a table reservation only at 7:30.) The food (I had the prime rib) was very good, as usual. The service was unacceptable. Our server did not bother to introduce herself, just wanted us to order cocktails. When I asked if the roast beef was still available, she seemed to have no idea that roast beef and prime rib are the same. We ordered our entrees and wine a bit later. A different server brought our food, which apparently had been sitting in the kitchen awhile as it was warm but not hot. When we were halfway through eating, our wine had still not arrived and our server had not been in sight for some time. I had to get up from the table and find a table clearer nearby to ask about the wine. Our server brought it and did not offer any apology for the delay. The other distracting thing about the meal was the table's location and ventilation. We were seated in the side room near the windows. The ventilation system blew cold air on our table through our meal. I asked our server and another server if this could be remedied and it was not, nor did anyone come back and give a response to my inquiry. It must be very difficult these days to find good servers. But the one we had last night obviously lacked the training one expects at a restaurant of Green Valley Grill's reputation. The service and ventilation problem seriously detracted from our enjoyment of our Christmas dinner.

    As usual the food was excellent. Definitely a good place for special events. The restaurant is quite comfortable and the ambience is nice but it is a little noisy. We had a hard time hearing our waiter

    We had a delicious Christmas dinner at Green Valley Grill. Both my husband and I had the prime rib which was huge and yummy!!! Our server, Alexis B, is always wonderful (we’ve had her as a server in the past). She has such a lovely personality. We did notice that another table close by was giving her an exceptionally hard time, but she handled it with grace. More importantly (to me), she didn’t allow it to affect the way she dealt with us. I really admire her professionalism.
