Greens is open for indoor and outdoor dining, with take out available online or at our in-house kiosk. When reserving a table outdoors, we recommend bringing a jacket that is suitable for wind and chilly weather. Our heated dining pavilion is in front of the Greens building.

Diners savor Greens imaginative vegetarian cuisine that features local and seasonal produce and the finest ingredients from our organic farm Green Gulch. Focusing on creative and nutritious meals balanced in flavor and textures, our menus are inspired by farmers, relationships and stories around the world. Located in Landmark Building A of the historic Fort Mason Center, Greens is home to some of the most dramatic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands that San Francisco has to offer.

Ottimo assortimento di piatti vegetariani/vegani. Menu ridotto che aiuta nella velocità del servizio e rende facile la scelta al cliente. Vista panoramica del molo e del Golden gate. Consigliatissimo.

Such delicious food, clearly prepared with lovingkindness. Great having water at the table. Not so great having watery coffee. I could see through it. Or, is it just that it’s a very light roast? I know there are different tastes in coffee, but those of us who go dark really can’t handle the stuff you serve. I know, that’s a good problem to have.

Greens never fails to impress. The food is spectacular and each dish is different and delicious. We were a party of four and ordered everything to share, which was absolutely the way to go. The service was also phenomenal. I have celiac and we had another allergy in our group as well and the kitchen caught a potential concern and circled back with us so we could change our order. I can’t eat everywhere, so it’s such a treat to visit a restaurant where I can relax and safely enjoy the experience. Greens is a San Francisco institution at this point, but it has done an amazing job throughout the years of evolving and staying fresh and current. Always a treat to eat here!

Tipping culture is terrible. We had a business luncheon with three of us. The suggested tip on the receipt is not a standard for lunch, unlike the suggestive tipping for dinner at 20% or higher. Our waiter was the worst of all. Out of the seven times we asked for a refill, our water cup was always empty. She rarely came by to ask if we wanted a refill, even for coffee. And she never came back to check on our food or offer any assistance. The only time she did respond was when we asked if our bill could be split three ways. Overall, the entire visit was not worth it, and we wouldn’t be returning.

The food, space, and staff is always great, but parking when there’s an event at Fort Mason is a nightmare. My husband tried for a full hour with no luck, so I ordered for takeaway since we couldn’t eat there together. (The restaurant should figure out a way to secure parking spaces in the lot for diners, leaving event-goers to park in the lots further away and then take a shuttle over.)

I wanted to eat everything on the menu, it looked so delicious! I have had the Greens cookbook for years but never was able to make it to the restaurant until now. I am so glad I did!! We had a wonderful time, and we were treated so well from the moment we walked in through the end of the meal.
