They texted us when our table was ready but we didn’t get it. We were right in front of the hostess when she did it. We asked about our table and she said I texted you. Anyway we got seated and 5 minutes later the text hit my phone. The reception in the stockyards is not good and we saw many people not get the text and lose their table. Need a better system when it’s super busy. Hostess could be nicer when I have had the reservation for weeks and she is paying more attention to walk ins. Will make me think twice about coming back even though I love the food and have been a customer for years.

The steak is not that good. The portion is large, but the New York steak and rib meat are not tender.

The food has really gone downhill. Our baked potatoes were not hot or soft. Steaks were just ok. Our waitress never came back to bring extra butter we asked for or to check if we needed more drinks. She brought the bill so we were just done - not by choice. We love the decor and have been frequent visitors in the past but probably not anymore. Sad to see this happening at such a staple in the stockyards.
