A restaurant that triumphs in taste over trend, Hal's is not the typical highbrow restaurant so often equated with food of this quality. It is a place of white table cloths, flowers, warm brick, & candlelight.

DRESS CODE: To ensure a quality experience for all of our guests and to meet our standard of service, our dress code will be strictly enforced.                                                                                                             Hals is fantastic for a gentleman's evening or business dinner, but not the best for a romantic evening. It's simply too noisy. Also - you guys need to pick up your game with desserts. The meal is 5+ stars, deserts are 3 ( at best). I love Hal's and it remain my favorite steakhouse, but will likely defer my desert elsewhere. This is my ONLY constructive feedback. BTW - the lobster LaBeaux is fantastic!

                                                                                                            Wow. Just wow. I want Eddie to be my server every day, at every restaurant I go to. He was extremely personable, told great stories, and so knowledgeable about the food and wine. He made you feel like royalty. He will be the reason we go back to Hal’s. There are not enough nice words to say about this man. You can tell that he has a passion for making people feel comfortable in any setting, even when your setting is already a 10. I hope his mom reads this because he deserves extra gold stars. He’s the cherry on top. The chip and the dip. He can even come live in my home. Also the food was amazing. My wife’s rare steak was perfectly cooked. Cannot say enough about the lobster Mac and Cheese.

                                                                                                            Wonderful experience at Hal’s The Steakhouse! After a warm welcome by everyone at the door, Brian greeted us and provided impressive service throughout our meal. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly while offering helpful insights for the dishes we considered. The food was amazing! The bread - INCREDIBLE - crispy with a savory spread and served warm. We were told it’s flown in three times a week from New Orleans. SO WORTH IT! The lamb, served in a sweet/tangy sauce, was awesome, as was the chicken served over mashed potatoes and gravy. The flavors in this dish had a southern comfort kinship while remaining light and delicate. The main room of the restaurant was lively and louder than the area where we sat. We had requested a quiet spot in our reservation for quiet conversation. Our spot worked wonderfully. We look forward to visiting again!

                                                                                                            Great drinks; however, disappointing and certainly not worth the hype. Extremely noisy,smoky, cramped and tattered feeling from the ripped seating to scratched glassware. Meal was okay. I’ve had far better meals at Chops or Kaiser’s ChopHouse coupled with exceptional service, wonderful atmosphere and overall experience.

                                                                                                            We were there for an energetic spot and a great steak. The upstairs bar top was exactly that with outstanding service, great music (from downstairs), and a pretty quick, perfectly cooked and delicious steak, along with a recommendation of the fried lobster, which has changed my life! Will return here on our next trip to the ATL.
