A restaurant that triumphs in taste over trend, Hal's is not the typical highbrow restaurant so often equated with food of this quality. It is a place of white table cloths, flowers, warm brick, & candlelight.

DRESS CODE: To ensure a quality experience for all of our guests and to meet our standard of service, our dress code will be strictly enforced.                                                                                                             The noise is absolutely unbearable. You cannot have a conversation and getting in and outof the restaurant is almost impossible. It appears as though they’ve changed the configuration for the holidays and it really makes the most wonderful food difficult to enjoy.

                                                                                                            Years ago Hal’s was our first a la carte dining experience so it’s the restaurant that we always end up going back to for special occasions. However, over the years the ambiance and grandeur has diminished for us. Hal’s is delicious, you expect it to be busy, but fighting to get to the host stand just to alert the staff that you’ve arrived for your reservation has gotten old. Luckily, we were seated away from the entryway hubbub at a requested window seat upstairs. Unfortunately, we were right next to the loudest, most obnoxious group of women enjoying a holiday party. The thick curtain did absolutely nothing and we had to yell at each other sitting merely inches apart. The food was delicious and the server was precious, acknowledging the birthday and pregnancy that we were celebrating. Even though our waters stayed empty and the Caesar salad we ordered never made it to the table, he did gift us with two special desserts and a cappuccino. We considered it a fair trade and didn’t mention it, but did feel that because we weren’t drinking we received less attention. The three other tables around us with wine and cocktails visibly got checked on more frequently. As far as special occasions go, we will start frequenting some of our other favorite fine dining restaurants around Atlanta. It seems we’ve grown out of the suited bro and screaming drunk women scene and are highly unlikely to return.

Their attentiveness and attention to details made the dining experience very enjoyable ! Can’t wait to visit against again soon

                                                                                                            Always a wonderful experience and wonderful dinner at Hal's. Our server Eddie was amazing and made the night memorable for me and my friends! We love celebrating the holidays at Hal's!

                                                                                                            Celebrated birthday with friends and it was top notch! Was very crowed so we had to wait a little for our reservation but we didn’t mind. Great atmosphere and service was impeccable. Hal’s steak is my favorite of all time!
