We began with their prompt Valet service upon arrival. We had fabulous service from our friendly and personable server David throughout our meal. The food,drinks and wine service were perfectly presented and timed.. We had wonderful Bacon Scallops, super fresh and delicious Wellfleet Oysters and Cocktail Shrimp. That was paired with a extra delicious seared Wagu App. We followed with Rib Eyes which were excellent. We finished with scrumptious Carrot Cake and coffees. The Manager Matt checked in on us a few times to make sure everything was great. The Hanover Street Chophouse is simply The Place to go for top shelf Fine Dining in Manchester.

We splurged for Valentines Day and really happy we did. A nice bottle of wine from their excellent list, two of the best steaks we’ve ever had (mine was a wonderful bone-in ribeye perfectly done). We uncharacteristically got a dessert, their special being a Boston cream pie cake with ice cream. A food, wine, and service experience that was worth the somewhat high price.

Food was excellent, we had the filet and salmon, both were perfectly cooked and tasty. also had the crab cocktail, chowder and caesar salad, also excellent. Doug G. was our waiter, he was fun timely, and efficient. Management checked on us a few times to make sure everything was to our liking. Valet parking had our car ready, warmed up and pointed in the right direction for a perfect ending for a wonderful evening.

My guest and I celebrated early for Valentines Day. Loved that Hanover has free valet parking. We engaged Matt for a few minutes which he seemed happy to do. We had a relaxing drink at the bar before going to our table. Our server Sydney was excellent. She did all she could to please us. The bread basket was delivered and had a great choices but for us the best was the flat bread. Slightly charred and crispy. We ordered the burrata app. It is an outstanding array of Italian cold cuts, toasted sliced baguettes, jam and arugula. My guest then had the special which was cod topped with lobster along with boiled potatoes and asparagus. She loved it. I had the pork chop which came just as I ordered it, medium rare. Really top notch. I substituted fries for mashed potatoes but got both anyway. The fries are thicker than I prefer but still pretty good. Highly recommend the burrata and pork chop.
