                                              Limited menu selection, had to pay for bread basket as rolls were not served with diner orders. The chicken was on the dry side, but the pizza I ordered was actually good.

                                              I was expecting a Christmas Eve dinner menu, but unfortunately there was only pub fare. The fire-grilled pizza was just fine. However, I had not been to the Mountain View Grand since the most recent major renovation and I felt that the public spaces in the inn lacked a lot of the previous character that made the place so special. The main dining room felt sterile, almost like a chain restaurant. On the plus side, it's still hard to beat the phenomenal view and extraordinary location. To be fair, the inn did need a refresh, it's just a shame that the new management company did not keep some of the old-time New England flair that used to define the inn. It felt like a Restoration Hardware showroom, very bland.

                                              Food is fine, not great. For the setting & price it seems like the food should be better. Service was pretty good, our hostess was friendliest and most helpful.

                                              Service was really lacking-it was a good 10 minutes after we were seated before we saw our waiter. Out of 12 beers on tap they were out of 4 of them. I ordered a pale ale and received a stout Our appetizers didn’t come out together and we had to ask again for the second appetizer since it never came out. When the pizza we ordered finally came out after 45 minutes after we ordered it, it was as the wrong pizza. There was a table that was so loud that they disturbed everyone in the entire restaurant . People directly next to them left before their meal was finished and yet they only got louder. Overall a huge disappointment Pizza was good even though the second one came back the same as the first one that was sent back

                                              Server was great. Food was fairly good. Prices are high. Most other diners were young families with poorly behaved children (lots of crying) we should've booked later but had other plans. So not the best setting for a romantic dinner. Drinks were good. Setting is beautiful. It was a fairly empty dining room and we were seated against an interior wall versus near the gorgeous view of the White Mtns. They could certainly do better for what they charge. Disappointed given what could have been.

                                              No outdoor dining even though it specifies outdoor patio on Open table. Service was great. Food was good. Lots of families and small children there for the pizza on Saturday night. Same menu as the Wine Cellar which we did on Friday night. Great views.

                                              We had a lovely dinner at the Harvest Tavern, not realizing when we made the reservation that the restaurant is inside the Mountain View Grand Resort, a lovely setting. We had excellent mains - lamb shank and salmon- and tasty sides. The setting was less like a tavern than a casual restaurant, with families dining beside us, but the service was very good and the waiter friendly. We would gladly dine there again.
