The advertisement on social media stated that it was £15 for rump steak and choice of side but this turned out to be £19.50 which I didn't understand. On top of this 12.5% service charge is applied so whilst it was a decent lunch wasn't as cheap and cheerful as anticipated.

My friend has not been to Hawksmoor, I suggested to take advantage of the January food offers and dined there. We both had the discounted set menu and it was tasty. Nice decor, good atmosphere as the place was very busy because of the offers, good service and our server Keegan was attentive and friendly. Our dining experience was very good. The only criticism we have was the prices for the extra, £4 for a very small jug of sauce and the beef dripping fried chips tasted like normal chips, at £6.25 for a small water cup size portion, a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, January offers is the right time to dine here for a tasty reasonably priced piece of sirloin steak.

Service was very good, waiting staff were very attentive. Dining area quite noisy and tables quite close together. Had the steak special, was cooked to perfection but meat was chewy and had more grizzle than I was expecting, also too salty as were the chips. Drinks expensive.

Amazing as per usual. In most places when you have a discounted dish (we had the January special today) they end up giving you extremely small portions. Not here, it is exactly how you would expect. Excellent service as always.

Had an early Sunday dinner during a weekend away in Manchester, busy, bustling place, lovely atmosphere, despite being busy the service was very good. I had a rib eye steak and my fiancé had the piri piri chicken which she really enjoyed. The desserts were amazing, sticky toffee sundae and mango pavlova. Because I’d mentioned it was my birthday I was given a box or their own made ‘rolos absolutely amazing. Would I recommend the Hawksmoor, Manchester.

Food was not served really hot, I like it very hot and the veg was cool, the meat was tough and not well done enough as was very pink in the middle , the gravy was served warm so needed to be hotter Perhaps they’ve too much food being pre prepared at the servery? The waiter was outstanding and lovely There was a very long wait for dessert of over 30minutes which I did not think acceptable just too long I have visited Hawksmoor in the past and have had a very different experience being a much better one Sadly after having a lovely time at the theatre our visit to Hawksmoor somewhat spoiled our afternoon Regards Jane Wilde

I have never experienced food, hospitality like this in my life. Craig, Omari, Harry, Chloe, Odane and David made our visit and dining a very memorable night. The Sunday Roast was the best food I have ever had, the cocktails were second to none and the hospitality from the above people was nothing short of excellent. Hawksmoor blew my favourite restaurant off top spot into second place, the personal touch of the waiting and bar staff was phenomenal. 10 out of 10, my first visit to Manchester will be forever memorable due to the team at Hawksmoor. I applaud you lads and lass. Keep up the good work and we will see you all very soon. Dez and Maxine
