   We celebrated a 109th birthday tonight. The service was fantastic. The chef is tops. All the bells and whistles. Don’t miss this superb place. Notwithstanding being near the water, the food is excellent.

   My entree of lemon sole was very fishy so it must have been old and not fresh. I did not eat it. Everything else was very good

   I ordered the tomahawk ribeye. I asked the waiter to make sure it had a nice size cap. The cap couldn't be smaller than I have ever seen. The steak was $79.00 and was tough. I doubt it was a prime steak. For that price, the steak should have been like butter.

   First time there. Was disappointed. Food was bland and waiter was very impatient. The entire time we were there we felt like the waiter was trying to get us to eat and get out. Was there with two friends and we wanted to catch up and talk. We were at our table a bit over 90 minutes and there were empty tables - so we weren’t preventing anyone else to be seated. Wouldn’t go again. There are plenty of better options in the area. But the ambience is great.

   Consistently excellent food. When busy, ambiance is energetic, but very noisy in the seating area in the same room as the bar. Nonetheless, it's one of our favorite restaurants. The Poll Brothers deliver consistently excellent quality food and ambiance at nearly all their restaurants, at a $$$$ price. It's worth it if you are in the mood.

    Love brunch at Hendricks. We always start with the donuts. Love them. This time our crew got omelettes, the croissant egg sandwich, and the avocado toast. Service was great as always !
