Hennen's is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, next to the Tennessee Aquarium, IMAX Theater & within walking distance of several area hotels.
An elegant ambiance is centered around the 2,400 bottle wine cellar located in the middle of the main dining area.

    The service and overall atmosphere were excellent. Three of the four meals were exceptional but the last one, the house filet, was over cooked and tough. The server responded quickly with an apology and had a second one prepared. Unfortunately, by the time it arrived we were pretty much finished with our meals. And that was very disappointing, especially at a steakhouse like Hennen’s. And we were charged the full amount for the overcooked steak which was a bit of a surprise. We will continue to dine at Hennen’s since our past experiences have all been wonderful. It’s just unfortunate that there was a fly in the ointment on this occasion. EJ

    All our good & wine was wonderful. The smoked salmon appetizer was great. Everyone who had steak was happy.... prepared to exact temperatures. Very nice Paul was our waiter and as usual he is spectacular!!! Took great care of us !

    I would note that the staff is excellent, which is probably the best thing Hennen's has to offer. There is no endless swarm of managers at Hennen's, as their waiters and waitresses know precisely what they are doing at all times. Essentially, whoever is training staff here might deserve a gold star. The food was delicious, yet I was slightly disappointed with the size of the Flounder serving, but it was still tasty. There is also a slight caution to the end of the NY Strip cuts as they can have an overwhelming flavor in those pieces of fat, which could catch people off guard.

    A premium level experience! From the start, Hennen's provided an excellent customer experience for my wife and I. Our server, Audrey was excellent. So much so, that I would not hesitate to request her again on our next visit. We started with drinks. I had a glass of Blanton's, and my wife had a Hennen's Mule. We started with the Flash Seared Tuna. All were very, very good. Then came the entrees; Filet Mignon cooked medium perfectly as requested, with Au Gratin Potatoes, which I put up there as one of my all-time favorite sides at any restaurant we've dined at......ever or anywhere. My wife ordered the Jumbo Crab Cakes which were definitely jumbo in size and delicious. It's the second time she' ordered it at Hennen's. That's how great they are. We finished this great meal with Creme Brulee and a dessert Chocolate Martini. A brilliant cap to a great dinner and service.

    The waitress did a fantastic job. The food was absolutely awesome and we had a great time.

    The meal and service were remarkably wonderful. Hennen’s continues to be our favorite restaurant in Chattanooga.

    Hennen’s was a fantastic experience! Courtney was amazing and super attentive. The food was perfect and the value was great. 10/10 recommend!
