Herbie's is an American restaurant and bar inspired by the food & atmosphere of the French bistro as well as the cuisines of Italy, Asia, and the coastal American South. Our focus is on seasonal dishes with local ingredients, featuring rotating menus and daily specials with something to satisfy every palate. Renowned for our welcoming hospitality and gorgeous dining rooms & patios, we strive to make every guest feel at home, whether here for a business meeting, an intimate dinner, or any other occasion!

We accept reservations online & over the phone. For parties larger than 6 guests, please email reservations@herbies.com with your name, party size, date, time, phone number, and any additional requests.

We had dined at Herbie's before they moved and were very satisfied with the food and service. This visit was a brunch for our family to celebrate the holiday season The menu looked great and we were very excited about our visit. The new location is very nice and the service was good. Bottomless mimosas were inconsistent with the first being quite good, but the next two being a bit orange juice heavy. We ordered beignets as an app for the table just to try them because one of the grandkids wanted them for their meal. Thank goodness we did because he took one bite and put the rest of that one on his brother's plate. They weren't even close to what a beignet should be and were likened to hush puppies by one person and soft pretzels by another. Two of us had omelets that were less than wowing and the benedicts were the worst that I have had. Biscuits and gravy were good and everyone who had the breakfast potatoes enjoyed them. Bottom line, the ovetall quality of the food is not what it had been in the past. We will look for another brunch for our family next time.

Very poor brunch experience on 12/8. Had steak and eggs, steak was cooked well but no flavor in mushroom demi-glace. Potato side dish was clearly out of a bag and not fit for an upscale restaurant. My companion had crab Benedict which the menu advertised as being lump crab meat but was only a few small crumbles and barely there hollandaise. Salad that came with it was underdressed. Also shared a plate of avocado toast which again stated on menu that there was supposed to be a balsamic drizzle on top. Plate came out with no balsamic. Alerted server who brought menu over I guess to prove me wrong and then she realized her error. She went back to kitchen and came back with some pink vinaigrette that clearly wasn’t balsamic vinegar. I questioned her but she said she thought the same thing and “sniffed it” but the chef assured her it was balsamic vinegar. Also pineapple in fruit salad side dish was mushy. All in all not a good experience and I won’t be returning.

Herbies is a fantastic restaurant. Their winter menu has someone for everyone and the service is top notch. We can’t wait to return to try more of their food. The restaurant is decorated for Christmas.

Food and service was spot on. Five for dinner and all happy with meal. Fries particularly good and plentiful. Salmon prepared med rare as requested, unlike most who overcook.

We had a Wonderful Brunch Birthday experience! The bottomless mimosas and food was delicious. I highly recommend the eggs Benedict!

Every thing we had was amazing! The beef Wellington was phenomenal! Also the short ribs were good just needed a bit more sauce and was a tad bit dry. Espresso martini 🍸 was a great choice it was the perfect balance! I can’t wait to try this place again!

After a hard couple of weeks, we had a family dinner at Herbies, a restaurant that I had read about but not yet visited. The service was great and the entrees matched that. We are a family who doesn't like to duplicate orders when we go out so we can try different items and everything met or exceeded expectations, which is rare for our group. We started with onion dip - fantastic - and butternut squash flatbread which tasted very similar to a butternut casserole that we have have been making for years. The beet salad was also a hit as was the french onion soup. For entrees we had scallops with pasta, steak with frites, short ribs, polenta with shrimp added, and beef wellington. The beef wellington had a little bit too much going on for my taste but all the other dishes were fabulous. For desert we had creme brulee and lemon bars. Creme brulee is not my favorite and it's a good thing because it was claimed by my daughters and polished off. The lemon bars were the only item that was a miss that night because the crust was too gummy but overall the meal was very enjoyable, with high quality dishes and great service. I rank our meal at Herbies as one of the three best meals we've had out in St. Louis when trying new restaurants in St. Louis in the last two years.
