HK’s Restaurant & Bar is open for evening dining. Located off the main lobby at The Lodge of Four Seasons, and features floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the beautiful Japanese Gardens and of the Lake of the Ozarks main channel. Named after the resort’s beloved founder, Harold Koplar, HK’s is a complete celebration for any occasion… or for just enjoying a spectacular dinner in an amazing atmosphere.

HK’s dinner menu features a selection of small plates to the finest quality steaks, fish, pasta and regional dishes you will only find at The Lodge of Four Seasons. Begin, end, or enjoy your entire meal with a fine selection of wines by the glass or bottle, or order your favorite beverage from the finest variety of everyone's favorite spirits. Also enjoy before or after dinner cocktails around our new garden outdoor fire pit or the lobby fireplace.

                                                                                                                                                                                When we first walked into the lodge I asked if there was an elevator to get to the restaurant which was down some steps and I knew would be difficult since I have a sprained knee. The Man at the desk pointed us down a corridor. I thought it was odd that access to the restaurant would be that far out of the way but I hobble down there and we did not find an elevator. We came back down the corridor and I had to go down the steps to get to the restaurant. All of this made us quite late for my reservation, but the hostess was very kind and seated us. I asked her about the elevator and she said that it was through an inconspicuous doorway by the restaurant which turned out to be a service elevator. How were we supposed to know we were looking for a service elevator? And how strange is it that a service elevator was the only way for someone with a handicap to access the restaurant, especially at a place where they have a reputation for being a high end establishment. We sat for quite some time without even getting water. Finally the hostess came up to us and apologized and explained that they were short staffed because it was a holiday. She is actually the one who eventually came back and took our order before she had to rush off to answer the ringing phone and help the people who are standing in line waiting to be seated. We received our food after a while and the short ribs were good But the portion size could have been a bit bigger for the price. And my mashed potatoes were cold. Discussion on the way out revealed we were all in agreement that we wished we had made reservations someplace else instead. While it could have been way worse, it also could have been much better. I do commend the staff who was on hand for doing everything they could two help customers while working with a skeleton crew. Questionable access, overpriced & mediocre fare in a dated atmosphere.

The restuarant did not have our reservation and said that it is because of using open table that they did not recieve the resevation. they did find us a table though

Everything from the cocktails (rum-hattan & man-hattan), appetizers (won tons). salads, main course (steak, smothered chicken, lobster ravioli), snd deserts (cobbler & creme brûlée) was absolutely wonderful.

                                                                                                                                                                                Enjoyed a great dinner at HK's Restaurant as I was staying at the Lodge of Four Seasons for a Conference. The restaurant host was accommodating to my request to sit by an outlet so I could charge my computer so I could work. My waitress was Kristen who was nothing short of amazing, made my experience memorable. She was not only personable with me but with all of her other guests, calling each of us by name. She knew the right balance of checking in on each customer. When I was struggling between two entrees, she helped me make my decision and it was spot on! Same with my beverage--I let her know what I was looking for and she brought me a delicious drink! Thank you for a memorable first-time visit!

                                                                                                                                                                                We love going to HKs for their winter 3 course prix fixe menu! Great offerings and super pricing! The live music and friendly staff top off our dinner every year. And… an evening ending bourbon by the lobby real wood burning fireplace is the cherry on top. All we need next time we go is snow!

                                                                                                                                                                                Ghosted at the lodge,: We arrived for our reservation and could tell they were understaffed without being acknowledged for a few minutes. We sat around for another few minutes after seated with no acknowledgment and we left like an invisible ghost! Boo!
