Our lunch was lovely, made better by the service. Jocelyn was our server, it was the best service we have had at hobnob, usually the service is questionable. Food was excellent!

My afternoon tea at HobNob Restaurant was exceptionally outstanding, including the ambiance and service. Great selection of fine teas, the food was super fresh, and everything was delicious. I especially liked the gluten-free brownies, but really everything was top notch. It’s my new favourite place for tea in NOTL and maybe anywhere in Ontario. Kudos to the executive chef, pastry chef, and kitchen team.

We've been here 4 times before. We know we like the ambiance which is very nice as it is an old building. Mussel night Monday for 12$ so it was busy. Perhaps they need more servers on this night. Food: Lamb shank was very good. Served with panzarella which is bread cubes with nice carrots and tomatoes etc. I thought it was too much of the panzarella where I would have liked mashed potatoes and perhaps half of the panzarella. I pointed this out to our server and the manager but no options were offered. Other meal was Cornish game hen and it was very good. Ordered artisan bread and 3 spreads which were not explained as to what they were. Unfortunately we were finished our meal and the server diid not come for 15 minutes to remove the dishes and ask if we wanted coffee etc By then we just wanted out of the restaurant. Good service is expected when paying more than top dollar for the meal. Food was reasonably good but experience finished on a sour note.

Best Afternoon Tea Service From Niagara to Toronto. The venue is a beautiful two hundred year old home that explodes with Christmas charm. The tea service items were all created with care and attention detail. Our table was set beside a fireplace in a regal dining room. Selections of tea from a local tea sommelier impeccable. Bravo, this was the best tea offering I have experienced in some time, and I’ve done more than my share. Service from Anna was impeccable, her knowledge of the items and area were impressive. A regal experience in beautifully decorated surroundings.
