   Service was excellent and the general manager was especially attentive which made the evening more memorable. Food was also tasty and nicely presented.

   There was a prob in the kitchen and they proactively comped us an extra appi and 4! Drinks and were very apologetic

   Nice atmosphere helped along by friendly staff. Carrots with tahini and molasses is a big standout, so is the cornbread. Chicken fried mushrooms are served with a delicious mushroom aioli. Good wine and local beer list.

   the restaurant was bustling for sunday brunch. two of the four entree orders were not well executed. the manager kindly took the entree off the bill but we would have rather had a good meal rather than a comped sub par experience. it was my restaurant suggestion and treat so i was a little embarrassed that my guest had a less than enjoyable meal. homer street cafe has been one of my go-to’s when i’m in vancouver and i will undoubtedly return but maybe not for brunch.

   We love coming to Homer Street Cafe. The food never disappoints and the staff are always so welcoming and attentive. The 45-50 minute commute by Transit is well worth it! We can't recommend this restaurant enough to our family and friends. Every dish we've tried has been excellent. Today I tried their seasonal Ferrero Rocher French Toast. If you have a sweet tooth you will LOVE this item. It would also make a great dessert to share with one or two others in your group. The White Cosmo Slush was delicious and very dangerous. I could've easily had a few of those. The Oh Julius was also a nice and refreshing drink. Thank you for another wonderful meal!

    My husband and I always make sure to enjoy brunch at HSC. Impeccable service and the food is undeniable.
