Il Cantinori, located in Greenwich Village, has been at the forefront of Tuscan cuisine in NYC since its opening in 1983. This old farmhouse with a rustic warmth, stucco walls, wooden beams and voluminous floral arrangements is very romantic and elegant. We combine the unique traditional flavors of the Tuscan countryside with a complete seasonal lunch and dinner menu. We welcome guests with affectionate hospitality, daily specials and a wine list reflective of the northern Italian regions.

                                              Fantastic! Wonderful! We travel to New York City about every 8 to 10 weeks and try a new restaurant every time. We usually don't repeat restaurants but this one we will. Everything was perfect.

                                              The meal (although more expensive than it should have been) and service were fine. However when I checked my credit card statement from the meal, I was charged a different amount than I had signed for on the initial bill (including tip). It is unacceptable that a restaurant would charge more and include a higher tip in the total bill than was initially given.

                                              The service was very gracious. We were dealing with a time deadline and an allergy - they handled both with aplomb. I would definitely return again.

                                              We were overcharged - they charged us for the free tomatoes they provide with the bread. We have been multiple times before and never have been charged for that. The food was also not as good as usual. So sad to see a good restaurant go down hill
