Executive Chef, Alex McPhail has returned to his hometown after 6 years studying under some of the finest chefs in the industry in New Orleans. Taking culinary tips he picked up at Commander’s Palace, Restaurant August & the Roosevelt Hotel, Alex has created a dining environment unlike any other nearby.

I was seated at the end of the bar closest to the kitchen. I really enjoyed this spot because it’s a better view of the actual cooking than what I have experienced at the food counter.

Best restaurant and staff in NW Florida. Michelin star level talent in FOH and BOH! Splurge on a date night, I dare you :-)

The food was excellent and the service was top tier. Our server took time to wish us a happy anniversary and was very knowledgeable about the cocktails and menu. He made several recommendations, and was not lying! The smoked old fashioned was the best I’ve had in a very long time, and I truly enjoyed my redfish.

Fun doing the Early Bird 3 course wine paring dinner. Our server was spot on and the food was delicious. My Dad even said he now likes brussel sprouts. The steak was great. We did order some great pre dinner cocktails. The Old Fashioned with the bacon is always a hit.

There are a few others in the same tier but for our tastes, it’s rank #1 best food in Pensacola for us.

Probably the best experience we’ve had at this restaurant. All cocktails, apps and entrees were amazing. Danielle was a great server!! My friend who visited for the first time here was blown away by the food. She can’t wait to visit again and come back for round 2.
