From the moment we arrived, we were well cared for by every person we met. Our table was one of the most coveted looking out at the panoramic views of the cities. Dinner was divine! We started with oysters and New England clams and for dinner we ordered the sea bass and special bison steak with chef’s famous au gratin potatoes smothered in Comté. Our waiter, Kevin, convinced us that we had room for dessert and highly recommended the apple compote with cinnamon ice cream which did not disappoint! A lovely 20-year tawny to celebrate the evening and we left with smiles and warm, happy memories. Top notch service from beginning to end!

Very classy restaurant with amazing service! The quality of their steaks were amazing, however, they were cooked as though an amateur chef was on duty. They lacked any form of salt/pepper and were essentially room temp. The $20"oscar style" is not worth it at all. The seafood had to come out of a can and the 1/4 cut pieces of asparagus were a bit odd.

Sadly this place has really fallen off. A favorite date spot of ours, the wine list was a shell of what it should be with our waiter telling us “check back next year it will be way better… the reserve list is frozen and we can’t go in there and get bottles.” In addition to that, one of our steaks was extremely “chewy.” The food quality seems to have changed and we won’t be going back anytime soon :(

Phenomenal service by our waiter, Chris! We celebrated my husband’s birthday last night and we were blown away. I was apprehensive about J&G because we have never heard of the place. Our go-to favorites were booked - Maple & Ash, Bourbon Steak, Toca Madera… J&G will be added to our list of favorites in Scottsdale. We had the most amazing table, right on the glass overlooking the sunset and then the city lights. The bone in ribeye was cooked to perfection. I loved the grass fed filet. The crab cake appetizer was delicious. Bourbon selection was next level! After dinner we headed down to the thirsty cactus where the bartenders were amazing and hung out by the outdoor fire pits. 5 stars all day! We will be back soon!
