J. Gilbert's is an "upscale casual" steakhouse serving prime-aged beef cooked over a mesquite wood-fired grill. Guests enjoy various cuts of steak, fresh seafood (including award-winning crab cakes) & other house made favorites like the Blue Cheese potato chips & Chocolate Velvet Cake. The cozy atmosphere includes, rich wood, brick & soft lighting where you can enjoy an intimate table or host a private party. The extensive martini & wine list offers the perfect compliment to an excellent meal delivered with attentive service. J. Gilbert's is open for dinner 7 days a week and can be booked for private luncheons. Reservations are highly recommended.

    Kevin our server was very attentive but did not hover. The food was delicious and it was so exciting to see all the tables filled on a Wednesday evening. J Gilbert never disappoints. It is our restaurant of choice for any celebration.

    The steak was perfect and the scallops were more than enough to fill you up. The dessert was to die for and would try to eat it there vs. taking home. The chocolate cake comes with a fabulous raspberry ice cream. Don’t hesitate, go now!

    We celebrated our anniversary at J. Gilbert’s. They put us in front of the fire and it was just perfect. From the food to the service to the atmosphere… it was perfect. Thank you very much!

    JGilbert's is our go to for a wonderful dining experience! We took our kids to celebrate their good grades and to support restaurant week. Our waitress was sweet, but not as attentive as we are used to at your restaurant. Both of our children have celiac disease. I had to ask several times for a gluten free menu. She was not very knowlegeable about celiac and gluten. No manger came to our table either to discuss food safety. When we do take our children to a nice dinners, we like to do steak houses due to the higher level of service and extensive gluten free offerings. As a high end restaurant that offers many natrual gluten free items, it would be a good idea to provide some gluten free bread or at the very least crackers to go with your butter. Luckily, I brought gluten free crackers for children. We started with the crab bisque, a favorite of my husband and me. I was disappointed that they didn't present the soup with the crab in the bowl and then pour the soup. this may seem minor, but it definitely distracted from the experience we are used. Our steaks and scallops were good, but not up to the level they are usually at. The chocolate cake was dry and tasted like an old cake. I was excited to try and quickly wishing that I gotten soemthing different. Overall, spending to close to $400 felt like we didn't receive the service and food to match the price. The creme brullee and house salad were delicious, but the rest was not the quality that we are used to.
