J. Gilbert's is an "upscale casual" steakhouse serving prime-aged beef cooked over a mesquite wood-fired grill. Guests enjoy various cuts of steak, fresh seafood (including award-winning crab cakes) & other house made favorites like the Blue Cheese potato chips & Chocolate Velvet Cake. The cozy atmosphere includes, rich wood, brick & soft lighting where you can enjoy an intimate table or host a private party. The extensive martini & wine list offers the perfect compliment to an excellent meal delivered with attentive service. J. Gilbert's is open for dinner 7 days a week and can be booked for private luncheons. Reservations are highly recommended.

We celebrated our anniversary at J. Gilbert’s. They put us in front of the fire and it was just perfect. From the food to the service to the atmosphere… it was perfect. Thank you very much!

We arrived early for our reservation and they were able to seat us within a few minutes. Our server was exceptional. The food was really good. I specifically loved the crab cakes and scallops. We had a lovely evening!

Steak was tender but not much flavor. Asparagus had no flavor either. Food needs seasoning. Food wasn’t worth it for the cost

It was restaurant week and you get less food because they said they donate 10% of their profit. Our server also informed us they have to portion for the whole week so meal came with 4 pieces of asparagus. Our food was not hot , lukewarm. Server was very slow and would forget what we asked for. My husband ordered a smoked old fashioned and he forgot the glass. We had a birthday coupon and my husband called the day before to ask if we could use and whomever he talked to said yes. When we paid the manager told us we could not use it because it was restaurant week. My husband had to show the call log for her to believe that we called. Definitely not the experience we have had before at J Gilbert’s. Last night was very disappointing.
