J. Gilbert's is an "upscale casual" steakhouse serving prime-aged beef cooked over a mesquite wood-fired grill. Guests enjoy various cuts of steak, fresh seafood (including award-winning crab cakes) & other house made favorites like the Maytag Bleu potato chips. The cozy atmosphere includes rich wood, brick & soft lighting where you can enjoy a quiet table or host a large party. The extensive martini & wine list offers the perfect compliment to an excellent meal delivered with attentive service. J. Gilbert's is open daily for dinner.     The waiter judge my wife and that we were cheap because we wanted to split a salad. Drinks ran out, only saw him twice during dinner, had to wait a time to order desert and get the check.

    The lobster Mac was dry and my seafood was salty. The server was just mediocre. Not what I remembered and not sure if we’ll be back.

    Food was outstanding! Service was lacking to the point we had to keep asking server to remove empty glasses, and we were asked to pickup and hold empty salad plates so they could set main course on table when it came!

    The ambiance was graat with somewhat of a romantic setting although people were dressed casual. We were dressy because of Vday. The waiter should be more persomable instead of asking robotic question. Also, I wish he knew the wine selection a little better. Overall no complaints & food was delicious.

    We don’t usually prefer to sit in the bar and I thought I put that when I made the reservation, but I guess I did not. We seated in the bar. It’s very noisy there. The food was not up to par. Both of our baked potatoes were cold we consider your restaurant our favorite and we’ve been coming for years for every occasion When we came Christmas Eve my fillet was not cooked the way I ordered it. I notified my waiter and he did not say a word we’re gonna give it one more chance. I don’t know if it’s just on holidays that you have a different cook, but we felt very rushed also.

    Amazing steaks, great sides with good portion sizes. Minimal noise level and always top notch service. Also have a kids menu.

    I agree with the wife....absolutely amazing food. Best Oscar style filet I've had in years!
