J. Gilbert's is an "upscale casual" steakhouse serving prime-aged beef cooked over a mesquite wood-fired grill. Guests enjoy various cuts of steak, fresh seafood (including award-winning crab cakes) & other house made favorites like the Maytag Bleu potato chips & Chocolate Velvet Cake. The cozy atmosphere includes fire side dining, rich wood, brick & soft lighting where you can enjoy a quiet table or host a large party. The extensive martini & wine list offers the perfect compliment to an excellent meal delivered with attentive service. J. Gilbert's is open for dinner 7 days a week. Reservations are recommended.

...a lovely, romantic place, if it weren't for all the tracksuits there on a Sunday night: we were decidedly overdressed.

We had the beef and prime rib sliders on the Happy Hour menu and they were cooked perfectly to medium rare. We also had a wedge salad and warm rolls which were soft and fresh. We enjoyed Smokey Old Fashion cocktails. Enjoyable meal in the bar area which is always very cozy.

My Son surprised me with an invite to J. Gilberts fine dining. Neither of us had never been before. We appreciated the warm welcome that was received walking thru the door. Our gracious Server Candice took meticulous special care of us from the beginning to the end. Offering on point suggestions for our 1st time dining experience. We will certainly come back again.

We visited J. Gilbert's yesterday for our 14th anniversary. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. We enjoyed oysters in half-shells, lobster, Penne Pasta, Caesar salad, wedge salad, and fresh bread. Kim was our server and she was delightful. We highly recommend having dinner here - we will most definitely be back.

J Gilberts is our favorite steakhouse. Great food and service. Our server, Meghan, was fantastic! One of the best servers we have ever had.

Unfortunately tonight was probably my worst experience at J.Gilberts. The bench seat in the two person booth was broke. Would tilt down and out. Injury hazard to an elder person. Only one salad brought to the table, then a few minutes later the waiter remarked only one salad out. A minute or so later my wedge was delivered to the table. A couple of bites of salad and the steaks were brought out. The waiter then proceed to add ground pepper without asking. Delivering the entree in the fashion they were tonight made the dinner felt rushed and not to the level of service I have received over the years of patronizing this restaurant. Was disappoint!
