                                                                                        Incorrect food brought to table. One person had to wait 10 minutes after other diners were served for meal. Had to remind server 3 times about our wine order. Checks messed up. Salmon was decent but other (pad Thai) food was poor. Apps no flavor

                                                                                        The food was good overall. However, the shrimp in the Pad Thai was 'fishy tasting', which seemed old. A server/bartender was very rude to a coworker. He had a very high volumed disagreement, which should have been handled more discreetly. He basically yelled at her (an older lady) in front of customers. It was NYE and the place seemed understaffed, which was understandable to an extent.

                                                                                        We stopped in early for our reservation and had a pre-dinner cocktail, Andre provided excellent service and the drinks were very good. Our waiter at dinner was Zack and he also provided excellent service. The menu was somewhat limited due to New Years Eve and the food average, nothing special, if this had been my first time there, I might not return. The creme brulee was terrible, tasted very old; on the other had the lemon cake was excellent, very fresh and light.

                                                                                        The Blackened Tuna and Lobster Bisque soup could have been tastier. The hamburger was very dry. It was disappointing -- because I was craving for a really juicy, tasty, thicker hamburger. It did not taste fresh at all. The fish sandwich was average at best. Oh but the appetizers, the samurai nachos and the dynamite shrimp - THEY WERE SUPER!! My family loved them -- very, very much! THEY WERE AMAZING! So yummy! So tasty! And yes, our server, Kurtis was always there for us. I'd like to commend him for his outstanding customer service. It was already end of day, am sure he is very tired, but he kept on serving and serving and smiling and smiling.

                                                                                        Great food, and wait staff, however the the hostess , name rhymes with Fusan was so disrespectful. I made a reservations on Open table for 2, my 80yr old mother , battling Alzheimer’s, and myself. When we got to the restaurant we were told we were going to be sitting in the bar. I asked not to be sat in the bar, being it was Xmas Eve and I had my 80 yr old mom with me , with a cane and hunched over from osteoporosis. Fusan said I should have specified that on my reservation. Never in my life have I ever had to specify that I did not want to sit in the bar area because I have never been sat in the bar area for a reservation. This is when she said she was going to get the owner . I wish she wound have . I had to tell her that this was probably going to be the last Xmas I was going to able to spend with my mother and I didn’t want to have Xmas Eve dinner in a bar atmosphere . I still don’t think she got it . She acted like all the tables were spoken for in the restaurant . However a young lady took it upon herself to seat us in the restaurant which I appreciated . I come to your establishment quite often . Needless to say your employees attitude ruined the evening that I needed to spend ,with the woman who doesn’t even remember me . Then when we left I heard her snickering to another coworker about how I was difficult ? I know I’m not one to make a scene, but if I did you would have had to shut down for the night. I would love to hear back . Thank you . Since she was going to get the owner and all .

                                                                                        Our experience at J Liu is always excellent; J Liu offers a variety of foods, including options for children. Unlike many restaurants that attempt many different types of food, J Liu has mastered all that they offer. Their East Asian options are flavorful and reasonably priced, and their fine dining entrees are top quality. Their waitstaff are attentive and knowledgeable. I recommend both of their locations, in Worthington and Dublin.
