   I had heard a great deal about Jacob’s, so when the opportunity arose to dine there with friends, I was eager to experience it for myself. Unfortunately, the meal was rather unremarkable, leaving me questioning the widespread acclaim. Given the pricing, one would expect an exceptional dining experience. While the service was adequate and the food competently prepared, nothing truly stood out. The tartare was overly pickled and somewhat off-putting, while the oysters, though enjoyable, failed to justify the $70 price tag for the two appetizers. For my main course, I opted for the 32 oz bone-in ribeye and a few other sides. While the crust and preparation were well-executed, the overall flavor did not leave a lasting impression. In summary, while the food and service were acceptable, the experience did not justify the premium pricing.

   Joshua was such an amazing server! He really made us feel comfortable and welcomed at Jacobs & Co. The other staff members were very attentive and kind as well!

   The service and food was exceptional. Vania was our server for the evening and he did not disappoint with his professionalism and service. Our appetizers and entreés was prepared and cooked to perfection. Even our sommelier that recommended our dessert wine was spot on. We will definitely be back when they open their new location.

   We ordered a $165 trio tasting, but was served and charged for a $365 tasting. Haven’t heard back from the restaurant at all. Service was wonderful, price didn’t match what we were served.

   This restaurant is expensive. When you consider the taste and quality of the food, the incredible service, and the atmosphere that's provided, it's worth every penny for those who have the opportunity.

    What a treat! We’ve been coming to Jacob’s for years, and the steak is incredible! The timing of service is good too, not rushed. So many high end restaurants rush you out despite the price you’re paying. Here, we really enjoy the full experience. The staff, from the front desk , to your server, and whomever you’re passing along the way is kind, courteous and professional. One of the best steakhouses in Toronto for sure!
