   The food was excellent. We enjoyed the scallops and bacon appetizer as well as the pot roast nachos. The 8oz filet and salmon were cooked very well. The sautéed brussel sprouts and seasonal vegetables were delicious. The brownie dessert was also very flavorful. The kids chicken tender meal was also pretty good. Our biggest issue was the inattentiveness to my wife’s dairy allergy. It was included in the Open Table reservation, but it either wasn’t shared with the server or the server didn’t pay attention to it. Our expectation when sharing a food allergy with the reservation is that the restaurant will note it and pay attention to it during the experience. This is something Jeffrey Adams can definitely improve upon. Our rating would have been higher if they had paid better attention to this.

   Bernaise sauce needs to be taken off the menu. It ruined the meal. Had the Land and Sea. The lobster was completely overcooked and mushy. But even if it had been perfect it was drenched with the horrible sauce as well. Who puts anything on lobster? It’s way too delicate a flavor to overpower it with anything other than butter. Steak was ruined. Lobster was ruined. Even the mashed potatoes were covered in it. The Diablo shrimp were soggy because they were swimming in franks red hot or something that tasted completely sour and vinegary. So hot and sour we couldn’t eat it. Only redeemable food was a harvest salad and the wine. Will not go back. Too many other good options in the area.

   Had the 8oz filet. Was better than Capital Grille or the Angus Barn in Raleigh. Excellent food!

   Second time here--both were excellent. food was outstanding, cocktails were excellent, server was super. Really you cannot go wrong here.....

   Had a nice meal with a business colleague, food was good, not great but the notable part of the night was we switched our table reservation to the bar, and Traci waited on us and she was fantastic. She made our evening so fun. Have been to Jefferey Adam’s several times, will continue to come back but Traci was a big part of us having a great experience.

   The restaurant is beautiful. The staff are competent and welcoming. The menu options are wonderful and the food is INCREDIBLE. We love treating ourselves to a lovely meal here every 4 to 6 weeks. This restaurant is definitely a gem in Winston Salem and we highly recommend everyone try it!

    I have been an enthusiastic proponent of Jeffrey Adams but was disappointed tonight. The grouper was overdone, the rice - bland, and the chocolate Grenache covered cheesecake was a distinct disappointment. The cheesecake was dry and lacked flavor and the Grenache overpowering and distracting from the cheesecake. I was disappointed in the highlighted dinner of the evening and exceptionally disappointed in the cheesecake. I am disappointed that they do not serve espresso coffee nor do they have alternative milk to add to coffee.
