Jessica's at Swift House Inn is located in Middlebury, Vermont, just two blocks from downtown Middlebury. Set in an 1814 stately home, surrounded by beautiful lawns and gardens, Jessica's elegant atmosphere is the perfect place for a dinner for two, or a celebratory dinner for four to forty. Come experience Chef Rob Fenn's seasonal, Vermont-inspired menu.

Jessica's is the recipient of the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence for our wine list, one of only a handful of restaurants in Vermont and fewer than 1400 restaurants world-wide so honored.

Outdoor seating is weather dependent.

Please note when making a reservation that parties of 2 are allotted 90 minutes to dine; parties of 4, 2 hours and parties of 6 or more, 2.5 hours. Also, please note that we plan on seating your party in the dining room at the time of your reservation. If you'd like to relax with a pre-dinner beverage in the bar or parlor, we invite you to arrive well before your reservation time.

I have eaten at Swift House many times and the food is always good, but last night's meal was superb! My strip steak was perfectly charred, tender, with an excellent sauce. The service too was particularly warm and inviting. P.S. I find the credit card requirement for reservations (particularly the stiff amounts) off-putting, though I always call to cancel when necessary

Lovely dinner with knowledgeable and great service. Sommelier was accessible and great at advice. Highly recommend.

Great, service great food, and a lovely atmosphere. The experience was very welcoming and appropriate for the special occasion we were celebrating. The waiter was attentive, and helpful with menu choices. He provide a light atmosphere of humor.

Very upscale. The best restaurant in the area. Creative menu and extensive wine list. The owner and sommelier are friendly and very engaging. The atmosphere is warm and cozy.

Everything was outstanding from the bread, both of our small plates & large plates to the dessert. I'm not sure I've ever had a restaurant experience where every single dish was as delicious.

Another delicious dinner at Jessica‘s! The tuna was perfectly prepared, the beet salad I could eat three times a day (and who says that about beets?), and the sticky toffee with salted caramel and candied ginger…. Well there went my New Years Resolution. In addition, the staff are so kind and thoughtful, the environ so cozy. I‘ll be back again when I return to the area.

Jessica's is our special go-to for a wonderful evening out. We've never had a bad meal or experience. Food and drinks were top notch. Staff was excellent. HIghly recommend.

We had a wonderful evening dining at Jessica's Restaurant at The Swift House. The food was amazing, and the service by Jaye was excellent. Cocktails at the bar with their mixologist Laura is a great way to begin your evening. Everything from appetizers to dessert was delicious. Also, we happened to dine on a Fancy Friday which includes DJ and dancing, great fun. This restaurant truly stands out as one of the best dining experiences in Vermont!
