Welcome to Joe Muer Seafood, Detroit's premiere seafood restaurant. We proudly continue a tradition of dining and service excellence that began in 1929. Enjoy classic fresh fish and creative seafood specialties, sparkling service, and the best riverfront views in Detroit.

Enjoy favorites like our omelet station, Chicken Marsala, Shrimp & Grits, Sushi, decadent desserts & much more! At $65 per person (plus tax & gratuity), it’s the perfect way to jazz up your Sunday. Make reservations now to secure your spot. IMPORTANT NOTE: Each party is allotted 1.5 hours to enjoy the dining & entertainment. Please arrive promptly at your reservation time as we will keep to a tight schedule for this Special Event. If you desire to stay beyond the allotted time, we welcome you to move to the bar once you close the brunch tab with your server.

Once again I attended the fabulous Brunch hosted by Detroits style guru Chuck Bennett. Everything was excellent. The food oh my, delicious, live entertainment, surprise, guest flower, and attendance was amazing. Mr. Bennett knows how to give a party. It’s a must attend second Sunday of the month. Don’t miss the next one.

Went for a nice dinner last night and Restaraunt was crowded. I had a reservation and we arrived slightly early for it. There were people that came in after us and were seated before us when wasn’t right! Our food took forever to get and manager came up to apologize and appreciated that. I understand it was a Saturday night and I thought they would offer a drink or something to make up for it but nothing! We waited for 45 minutes to get our salads. The food was ok at best. For what they are charging for the food I was not impressed at all. Our side of truffle Mac n cheese was bland and luke warm at best. They did remove it from the bill. The automatic 20% service charge was never told to us. I always tip above 20% but did not being told what I need to tip! I will not be coming back here for a long time!

The food was good. The view was great on the window. The server was very knowledgeable and sweet, but ultra slow…which is a good thing at these prices, unless you have an after-dinner event (as we did). Speaking of prices….be advised they add a whopping 20% Detroit tax to your bill! Our already $216 bill ballooned by $43 bucks!!!! God bless our server who repeatedly circled that number in red pen to let us know that fact when determining her tip.

Had a wonderful dinner at Joe Muer Seafood for our anniversary. It was our first time dining here and we were not disappointed. Very nice ambiance with the river in view , terrific service and delicious food. Our waiter was fabulous and checked on us to make sure everything was perfect. We were even surprised with dessert, signature coconut cake for our anniversary. Scrumptious!

The three hostess at the front desk were rude. The waiter was friendly and understanding, and the food was okay, but I won’t be returning because of the attitude of the three staff members at the front. This is the second time I’ve had this issue, and I’m disappointed with the service.
