Welcome to Joe Muer Seafood, Detroit's premiere seafood restaurant. We proudly continue a tradition of dining and service excellence that began in 1929. Enjoy classic fresh fish and creative seafood specialties, sparkling service, and the best riverfront views in Detroit.

Business casual/Professional attire is required in all areas of the restaurant for all guests.

Enjoy favorites like our omelet station, Chicken Marsala, Shrimp & Grits, Sushi, decadent desserts & much more! At $65 per person (plus tax & gratuity), it’s the perfect way to jazz up your Sunday. Make reservations now to secure your spot. IMPORTANT NOTE: Each party is allotted 1.5 hours to enjoy the dining & entertainment. Please arrive promptly at your reservation time as we will keep to a tight schedule for this Special Event. It has been an exceptional restaurant that we always can depend on. We remember dinners we have had there 50 years ago. We keep coming back. So caring and considerate staff.

2nd Sunday Brunch hosted by Chuck Bennet did not disappoint! I booked a table for 10 to celebrate the hubs bday and we were seated right away. The buffet was plentiful with some of the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had! The crab in the Benedict was light and pillowy. There was an omelette station, sushi, breakfast meats and many many other options! Music was good…service was good considering how pact it was! Chuck greeted every table and we enjoyed the lovely atmosphere!

We had a reservation for 1:30pm for their Sunday Brunch to and waited for 45 minutes, watching party after party that came in after us get seated. When we spoke to the host, she offered no reason. After we got seated, we went to the brunch buffet and had to choose from food that was dried out, unappealing and was literally the scrapes of what had been left after the first few waves of people had gone through it. I go to Joe Muer for my birthday, anniversary, family birthdays and sporadically throughout the year. This was what I always called my favorite restaurant in Detroit but this experience was extremely disappointing. We were never once greeted by a manager (this is a usual occurrence here) and you could tell there was no control over quality. This was supposed to be a 50th birthday celebration for my husband…how truly disappointing.
