   Già la tovaglia non è cosa banale da trovare in us…cibo tra il buono e il discreto… meglio delle aspettative dato che il ristorante è molto grande

   Great meal but terrible, very pricey blueberry martini (with no blueberries) pre-dinner drink in the lounge!!

   Our first time dining at Jonathan’s. I’m local but hadn’t been here and a friend recommended it. The ambience was lovely and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. After a hiccup with my reservation they got us in and were very good about it. The food and drinks were all excellent and could feed you for days. The salad was fresh and the Maine Seafood Pasta, I highly recommend. The waiter could have been a bit friendlier, but the manager or host did check in with our table so all in all, I’d say this place is a return for us.

   We went to Jonathan's last night for a business dinner. We had a lovely time. The service was excellent as was the food. I will definitely be coming back with friends and family.

   Jonathan's is a very cozy, nice restaurant with a great drink and wine menu, great diversity of choices on the food and appetizer and dessert menus. Good service and well-made food. Very generous portions. We were greeted by Jonathan himself at the host table when we arrived and he was very friendly as was the rest of the staff. The interior ambiance is very cozy and it feels like you're at someone's very large house having a great meal. They also have an upstairs with music entertainment. Family friendly casual attire. Highly recommended!

   Finally, a chef who doesn't believe medium rare should have the blood running out of the meat. Excellent brown bread - like when I was a child.

    One would expect excellent seafood in Maine along the coast. I ordered the seafood linguine. Linguine was average and sauce (oil) was pretty flavorless. The seafood itself was sparse. There was half a soft shell lobster (lacks meat), three clams, and three decent size shrimp. For $50 this is not great value especially 2 1/2 hours up in to Maine from Boston. The room itself was especially cold somewhere in the 60s. Most of the women in were wearing their coats. When I asked for the buck a shuck, I was told it was only at the bar. I felt like getting up and going to the bar, but had already ordered food at the table. Had the waiter made an attempt to reconcile this review would have turned positive. There were only four sets of diners and it would’ve been easy enough to get a dozen of the oysters and bring them to the table. Getting the oysters probably would’ve turned the experience positive. My wife’s beef ribs were pretty good. Overall I would’ve expected a much better quantity and quality of seafood for the price. The piano man was a nice touch playing music in the background.
